It was 12.30am to be exact and Jaewon had just finished writing some songs for his next album when he suddenly felt dizzy and sick so he decided to take a rest on the couch. As soon as his back touched the couch, he took his phone to check the time and realised it was 9th June, his anniversary date with Jennie Kim. Yes, the Jennie Kim from Blackpink.
They first met when Jaewon was exploring the YG building when he first joined the company. As cliché as its sounds, Jaewon fell for Jennie the first time he talked to her. He have heard about the ace, the all rounder, pretty trainee from YG, Jennie Kim. She was a hot topic. Everyone knows about her ever since she worked with GD. However, before Jaewon thought that she was normal. Just maybe slightly above average but the day he came face to face with her, he realised she was more than just slightly above average. She was beautiful. Her smile was contagious, with her gummy smile and cat-like eyes. No wonder everyone was talking about the Jennie Kim. Fast forward to 3 years later, both Jennie and Jaewon have been together ever since. In secret of course due to YG's dating ban. Only blackpink members and some of Jaewon's close friends knew about it. Although they were together for very long, they didn't get to meet each other often due to busy schedules, especially Jennie.
Jaewon sighed realising that Jennie is not here with him, again, on their special day. Last year, Jennie promised to celebrate it but due to last minute schedules, she couldn't make it. But he doesn't blame her though. In fact he's happy that she's living her dreams but at times, he couldn't help it but to feel sad because he missed her, especially now when he feel so sick. He missed his Jennie. He missed the times where they would just stay in the studio and write songs together. He missed her taking care of him when he's sick and vice versa.
As Jaewon was feeling a little under the weather, he decided to get some shut eye. After maybe an hour or so, he felt someone caressing his face. Slowly he opened his eyes, and saw Jennie.
"J..jennie? Is it really you? Or am i dreaming?"
"Of course its me Jennie." Jennie slightly laughed.
Upon hearing that, Jaewon immediately shot up and hugged her tight. He finally believed that his Jennie is really here, with him. At first Jennie was shocked but then she hugged him equally tight.
"I missed you Jennie. I thought you forgot about me. About our special day."
"I would never forget you or anything about us. Even when i'm far away from you, my mind will always be about you. So don't even think like that. And yes, i missed you too Jaewon. So much."
"I'm sorry that I couldn't find the time to see you or talk to you these few days. I'm sorry if you feel like I have forgotten about you. I'm really sorry Jaewon-ah." Jennie sobbed.
"Hey, hey. It's okay. It's not your fault. I was just being too sensitive. I understand and trust you." Jaewon wiped away the tears that rolled down her cheeks.
Jennie just nodded and smiled at him.
"How did I get so lucky to end up being with someone like you, Jaewon-ah"
"I'm the lucky one here. I got myself a cute, lovely, gorgeous and talented girlfriend."
"Fine then, we're both lucky then."
