It was Golden Disc Awards and as much as Jimin should pay attention to all performers and winners, he could only concentrate on her.
All night Jimin kept looking around and was stealing glances at her. When her group won bonsang, she walked past him and he could smell the perfume that he bought for her when he was in US. Throughout the whole winning speech, Jimin was staring at her even when she's not the one giving the speech. Her little smiles and hand gestures for their fans, made his heart race.
During her performance, all he could do was to stare at her. She looked phenomenal especially seeing her enjoying herself on stage. She was shining so brightly like she was born to be on stage. He loved the way she rapped, sang and danced. Somehow she made everything look so effortless. The way she gazed to the audience and the smirk she would give now and then would make any man fall for her.
During one of the performances, Jimin saw her getting up and walking towards the backstage. He then excused himself to the washroom. Right before she could turn into the dressing room, Jimin hugged her tightly from behind. He heard her gasped before a sigh of relief came out when she saw that it was him.
"Did i startle you?" Jimin said while smiling cheekily at her.
"Of course! I was so shocked," she pouted.
Jimin laughed at her cuteness and pinched her cheeks, something that he loves to do.
"I'm sorry. I just had to. I missed you so much. After months of being on tour and not being able to see you, i felt the need to hug you. I...,"
Before Jimin could continue, she suddenly gave him a peck and hugged him tightly. He could also hear her little sobs. He could only smile and hugged her tighter. He knew how much of a cry baby she is.
"I missed you too, Jimin. These few months have been rough but i'm glad you're back now." She said in between her sobs.
"There, there. I'm already here. I promise we will spend more time together arasso?" Jimin gently pat her back.
She suddenly looked up and held up her tiny pinky and said, "you promise?"
"Of course, Jendeuki. I promise." Jimin held up his pinky finger and tangled it with hers.
"I should probably go back to my seat now. My members might be looking for me. See you later Jiminie," she said, letting herself out of his embrace and walking towards the entrance to the stage.
Right before reaching the stage area, she turned back to Jimin and said, "I love you," while winking cheekily at him.
Before he could even answer her, she was already gone. He just smiled to himself and said, "I love you too, Jennie Kim. Now and forever."
