You ran over to push Aiden out of the way,you felt the blade go through you. You looked at the Oni,for a while. Until it felt like it finally hit you. You looked down at the knife and as you looked back up you saw Aiden attack the Oni. The Oni immediately stabbed him. And as you yank out the sword,wanting to check on your friend,you fall to the floor. But,before you could hit the ground someone caught you.
"AIDEN!"
"(Y/N)!"
You knew that voice,Lydia. You knew the person who caught you so you wouldn't hit the ground,Derek. You turned to see Ethan holding Aiden.
"I'm sorry."
Derek held you as he tried to take away you pain. You stretched out one hand and reached to hold Aiden's hand.
"You have nothing to be sorry for. Why? Why did you do it?"
"He's my best friend. I couldn't bare to think of him dead."
"Now your both dead. There was no need for that."
You forced a laugh out,even though it was painful as hell.
"Who would I annoy if Aiden wasn't here?"
You heard part of Aiden's goodbye speech,buy not the whole thing.
"Anyways Derek, you did say that I as so annoying that I would annoy all the angels,or devil,so much they would send me back to earth."
Derek shook his head and was about to say something when he heard it. Two hearts stopped. Yours and Aiden's heart stopped. Ethan slowly but his brothers dead body down,but Derek couldn't. He couldn't put your body down. And then again,Derek felt broken. And he didn't know if he could ever feel whole again.
