Loving a Bionic (Lab Rats fanfic/Sequel to Bionic Feelings)

Elephants Buy Hats, Duh.

"So, what's going on with Krane?" I say. I'm sitting between Chase and Bree while we have a Davenport Industries Team Meeting. Adam is off playing with something he's probably not supposed to. I currently have Chase's hand in both of mine, and I'm playing with his fingers.

Mr. Davenport sighs. "He's building an army, Mellie. Of bionics. Since he knows he can't change Adam, Bree and Chase and make them bad, he's going to make bad bionics and put them in humans."

"Bad bionics?" I ask.

"Bionics used for evil. We use ours for good, while they would use theirs for evil. Like.....taking over the world evil." Chase says.

"That's awful. What are we gonna do? How many EBH's does he have?" I say.

"EBH?" Dad asks.

"Elephants buy hats, duh." Adam says.

"No. Evil Bionic Humans."

"Oh." Adam says, then continues pressing buttons.

"Well, as far as we know, he only has two. Bionic technology isn't exactly cheap." Chase says.

"Yes, that's why it helps to be a billionaire technology greatness." Mr. D says.

"Where does he just get these two kids?" I ask.

Dad starts typing on a computer, and two pictures come up. A boy and a girl, both about my age, I would say.

"Twins Alexa and Andy Arnolds, both eighteen from Los Angeles." Mr. D says.

You can tell they're twins. They both have dark brown hair and green eyes. If Andy Arnolds wasn't evil, I could almost call him cute. Not that I'd say that out loud. Especially with Chase right next to me.

"How did Krane get them?" I ask.

"This is the funny part. They're both his kids." Mr. D says.

"What? I didn't know Krane was married and had a family." Bree says.

"Well, he's not exactly married....and he doesn't really have a family....." Mr. D says.

"Ohhhhhh." We all say.

"He used to have a girlfriend, back before he went all crazy evil bionic. They had the twins, and then he left, leaving them to believe he was dead. Their mother just died a couple weeks ago and they were sent to live with Krane." Mr. D says.

"But why is there last name Arnolds, then?" Bree asks.

"It's their mother's name." Dad says.

"Oh." Bree says.

"Nice. Find out your long-lost dad isn't dead but in fact an EBH and then he turns you into an EBH. Nice father/child reunion." I say.

"So we have to stop Krane and the Arnolds." Dad says.

"By stop you mean kill, I imagine." I say.

"Well, unfortunately, probably yes."

"Isn't there a way we could turn their bionics, like, good?" I ask.

"Well....there is, Mel, but it's quite complicated." Chase says.

"But we do have a handful of geniuses at our disposal." I say, pointing to me, Chase, Mr. D, and my dad. "No offense, guys." I say to Bree, Adam and Leo. Bree just shrugs, Adam doesn't notice and Leo gives me a fake hurt face.

"That's right, we do."
