A Malec Love Story❤️

Magnus was the first to wake in the morning, he stood up slowly and walked over to the hall door. He took a quick glance at Alec who was sleeping peacefully surrounded by the people who loved him most. Magnus left the hall quickly to find Alec's room as he needed to use Alec's bathroom, Magnus was walking carefully down the corridors until he accidentally bumped into somebody he did not want to see. Alec's father, Robert Lightwood. Magnus went to move past Robert to continue on his journey but Robert blocked his way.

"Robert I would appreciate if you would let me past." Magnus said politely to Robert, Robert said nothing he just glared vilely at Magnus.

"Robert please let me past." Magnus said as calmly as he could.

"Look Robert if you don't let me past i'll just use my magic to get past you." Magnus said angrily. Magnus couldn't keep calm anymore, Roberts glare was infuriating Magnus.

"Filthy Downworlder scum." Robert muttered. Magnus turned to face Robert.

"What did you just say?" Magnus asked.

"You heard me, I said filthy Downworlder scum, it's what you are. You corrupted my son, probably used your stupid magic to make him think he's gay. You Magnus Bane are an abomination!" Robert screamed angrily and rudely. Maryse then appeared from around the corner, she had a look of pure rage on her face.

"Robert how dare you talk to Magnus like that, have you forgotten how many times he's helped us out and how he's saved our children, he saved Alec's life! If you keep acting like this Robert than I think you should just go, Magnus is basically part of our family and you either accept him or you leave!" Maryse angrily told Robert.

"How can you stick up for his kind, I don't care what he's done, he will never be part of this family, he's not worthy, he's a downworlder and don't act all high and mighty you hate his kind as much as I do!" Robert retorted. Maryse scowled angrily at Robert.

"No Robert that's where your wrong, yes I used to hate downworlders but that was back in the days when we were in circle and I only hated them because Valentine made me believe we should hate them. Since then I've grown to like downworlders, just because their different it doesn't mean their evil, they are good people!" Maryse explained to Robert whilst trying to keep her cool, Magnus rested a hand gently on Maryse's shoulder to show he was there for her, she placed her hand over his and smiled at him softly.

"Maryse how dare you let that thing touch you, he'll probably pass on some disease to you, he's a vile abomination, he's not human." Robert snarled.

"How dare you talk about my boyfriend like that, he's a better person than you, you think your all high and mighty because your a shadowhunter but honestly if anyone here is scum it's you Dad! I honestly hate you so much, your a stuck up, homophobic prick who thinks that anybody that isn't a shadowhunter is automatically a piece of crap!" Alec yelled hatefully, Robert looked taken back by Alec's outburst. Alec then came over and gave Maryse a hug and Magnus a kiss on the lips which took Robert to breaking point. Robert charged at Magnus and pushed him up against the wall violently.

"Get out of this institute your not welcome and never communicate with our family again you vile thing!" Robert screamed meanly at Magnus.

"That's it Robert, I've had enough of you, I run this institute not you! Magnus is perfectly welcome here and he doesn't need to leave, you however are not welcome here! Pack up your things and leave Robert, don't come near us ever again and oh I'm filing for a divorce!" Maryse told him firmly before walking off with Magnus and Alec to break the news to everyone else. Robert was left on the floor feeling broken.
