A Malec Love Story❤️

Alec awoke to find Magnus' arms wrapped around his wait, holding him tight in a warm embrace. 'I could get used to this' Alec thought to himself as he placed a soft kiss on Magnus' forehead causing Magnus' eyes to flick open.

"Good morning my love, you look gorgeous. This is a definitely a sight I could get used to seeing every morning." Magnus said flirtly as he sat up and pulled Alec in for a kiss. Alec let out a small giggle and increased the intensity of the kiss, just as things were about to go further Jace burst into the room. Jace looked away awkwardly seeing that neither of them were dressed.

"Sorry to interrupt the fun love birds but you'll have to continue this later. Get dressed and meet in the dining room for breakfast and a debrief. This includes you as well Magnus." Jace explained before leaving the room.

"What is it with all these shadow hunters constantly interrupting us." Magnus said jokingly as they quickly dressed and walked to the dining room, interlocking their fingers together as they walked. A breakfast buffet was laid out in the dining room and everyone was busy eating as quickly as they could, something about the mood in the room did not seem good. Alec quickly stacked some pancakes on a plate and sat down with Magnus as his mum stood up at the head of the table, a sombre look on her face.

"I'm sorry to have to gather you all here this early but our next mission is of the upmost importance. As you all know I kicked Robert out and filed for divorce. After Robert left he was supposed to go to Idris, however my contacts in Idris have informed me that he never arrived and no other institute has seen him either. Now I know some of you may not like him but he is still one of us so his disappearance is now our top priority and we will need all the help we can get." Maryse explained, her voice drenched in sadness and pain. Alec could tell from looking at her that she felt responsible for his disappearance. Magnus gripped his hand tightly a show of support.

"Are you okay my love?" Magnus asked softly. Alec nodded and squeezed Magnus' hand in return, his mind running wild with thoughts about what couldve happened to his dad.
