Hi guys! I'm really good at taking a long hiatus and then popping back up in your updates section. But hi, I'm here! Thank you so much for 400+ reads! You all are fantastic! Have a good read - Jessi

Teagan's POV:

"Teagan! Calum! Come play charades with us!" I hear Luke call as I shoot up from my place near Calum. The skin where his hand had been burned and tingled, and it felt like a million tiny moths had 'poofed' and flown off my stomach to make room for giant butterflies - no wait - dragons, to soar through my chest.

"We're here! We're coming!" I yell, trying to fix my messed up hair and willing the blush that I know is creeping across my skin to go away.

We'll never in a million years live this down.

Never.

"Sure we're coming," I just hear Calum mutter as I dart through the grass. I quickly lose track of where he is and reach the plateau of land long before he does.

"You coming?"

"Calum?"

My stomach drops.

"He's just tricking you. He's paying you back for scaring him," my mind assures me while my heart pounds at a thousand miles per hour. I scan the dark park, willing Calum to appear in front of me.

"Boo," I hear a dark whisper in my ear. I scream and stumble backwards, tripping over my shoelaces and landing flat on my ass.

"Oh my gosh, are you okay?" Calum asks through giggles, his tousled hair falling in his eyes as he leans over to help me up. He yanks just a tad too hard, "on purpose?" I wonder as my free hand falls against his chest, our faces inches apart.

"Damn you Calum Hood."

"That wasn't very nice."

"You aren't very nice," he murmurs in my ear, his warm breath makes me shiver, "cause fuck logic," I think, biting my lip to keep from saying something dumb.

"Hey, Teagan, we need you to keep score in here!" Luke yells from the bus door, breaking Calum and I quickly apart. My skin burns and freezes from his touch in turn, and my stomach knots as I jog to the bus. I glance back when I reach the door to see a very dejected Calum jog off in the opposite direction toward the lake.

I want to run after him and scream my weird spontaneous love for him in his ear, but then Luke's grabbing my arm and I'm sat around a lively game of charades. I feel like I'm underwater, all the noise muffled and faded, and I'm tallying scores and 'guessing' who's what, but I'm not really registering anything in my mind until it's my turn.

"Here's your card," Michael smiles, shoving the flimsy plastic in my hands and grabbing the scorecard.

I flip it over.

'Love.'

Well fuck me in the ass.

"Ah, erm, okay. Here it goes," I swallow, standing in front of the boys as Michael, my teammate, gives me a thumbs up.

He hits the timer and I make kissy faces at the air because I can't think of anything else to portray love.

"You kissing Calum," Ashton shouts, fist pumping the air. I shake my head vigorously and try to make hugging motions. (Which for the record is very hard unless you actually have something to wrap your arms around.)

"You feeling Calum up?" Michael hesitates, while Ashton and Luke erupt in giggles. I resume making kissy faces as a blush crawls up my neck.

"You kissing Calum's dick!" Luke exclaims, smiling extra wide as I slap his arm.
