It had felt like someone was crushing my lungs not too long ago. I could hear the crys of Zach as he stared at the scene in front of him. Looking at what he was crying about, I gasped.
I let out a scream of pain and horror.
Cody layed on the floor limp, gun in hand, bullet through his left eye. It was no doubt that it had went right through his head. There was no chance of him surviving. Suddenly the metal door clicked before sliding open. I crawled weakly towards Cody, my strength slowly coming back but leaving as if it didn't want to be used at the moment. Grabbing his now cold hand, I held it to my cheek. I cried looking down at him.
“Oh, Cody...” I whispered.
