Lisa Guardmen

I watched as the boys walked away. Looking over at Brock, I frowned. "Babe," I spoke softly as he began walking away himself. "Babe, wait!" Getting up I quickly followed him. "Sweetheart, they want to help their friends. Remember when you were so desperate in helping others as well? They're just like you. If anything, they're-" "Absolutely stupid!" Brock yelled. He stormed into our room, not daring to look at me. I silently closed the door behind me, making sure to lock it so no one would interrupt us.

"And you weren't?" I said with a giggle sitting next to him on the bed. He let out about the fifteenth frustrated sigh today. Setting my hand on his lap, he looked up at me, his eyes turning soft.

The only eyes he can express when we're alone.

With my other hand, I put my palm on his cheek, softly rubbing my thumb under his eye. I let out a small sigh. "I know we've just met them; but we have to help them Brock. They need us. Those people need us. Please, just let them at least use our weapons and gear. That's all I'm asking." I asked him, almost begging. He opened his mouth to object, but he quickly shut up to think about it.

"I.... I suppose so. But if they get killed!--" He stopped when I set my hand down and kissed his cheek. "--It's on them?" I finished. He sighed with a nod. "Yeah," He mumbled. I glanced at the cup of water as he reached out to drink it.

Standing up, I clapped to myself. "Wonderful! I'll go let them know!~♪" I leaned down and kissed his forehead. "You get some rest, my love. You have a big day tomorrow." He yawned, then nodded. "Of course. I love you, Angel." "I love you too." Walking towards the door, I turned the light off and walked out, closing the door behind me.

I sighed deeply, leaning against the wall. Looking down, I looked at the key in my hand. "I hope you'll forgive me, My love." Turning towards the door, I locked it. "I'm sorry I won't be home for cuddles tonight."

I began rushing towards the gear room, where all weapons, gear, and supplies were. I grabbed a bag and began grabbing anything that would be needed for Dan and Maxx. Everyone was or should be asleep by now, but I had grouped up only our best to come and help Dan and Maxx. I was going to be there as well since I was the Medic.

After packing everything up I quietly snuck over to their room. Through the crack under the door, the lights remained on. I could hear faint whispering coming inside.

"Faster, Maxx!" Dan groaned. "I'm trying my best here!" My face suddenly heated up. Opening the door, I kept a small giggle to myself and replaced it was a fake surprised gasp. "Shit! I-it's not what you think it is!" Maxx explained, stuttering. I crossed my arms after setting the bag down, leaning against the door. "I see you two are... Busy?" I giggled.

Maxx was leaning over the window, halfway out and only waist below in. I could hear Dan struggling outside the window from below.

Walking over there, I looked out only to see Dan holding onto the rope Maxx held tightly. He seemed to be tangled up in the extra rope he had. I laughed silently before deciding to help Maxx pull him back up.

Once he was in I untangled him from the rope. "There," I smiled. "Better?" He chuckled awkwardly but nodded. "Better." "Good." I simply said standing up straight. I walked over to the bag and set it on the bed. "Just a little gift before we head out." They looked at me like i spoke a different language. "We?" Maxx repeated. I laughed. "Well, duh! You do want to save your friends again, correct?" I asked, putting empathy on 'Do'. They both brightened up.

But Dam quickly frowned. "What about Brock?" He asked. I sighed. "He doesn't know. He's sleeping and he's staying that way." Memory of him drinking the water buzzed in my mind. That pill should've knocked him out a few minutes ago. I smiled again.
