I'm told forgiveness allows the heart a bit of peace
I thought I'd never kiss and tell
But can I ever forgive you ?For making me fall deep in love with your bitter twisted lies
Every sweet sounding word you whispered gently like a melody in my ears
Every light heartening stroke you caressed down my messy hair and didn't even care
Every daring stare you pierced into my ocean filled eyes as our bodies brushed together
Every priceless dream you sold to me when it was just you and I underneath the night sky?I live with pain in the bottom dungeons of my heart
Shadowed voices next to my pillowcase
They scare me and sometimes even haunt me
while yours is silent and tranquil
My bedroom ceiling reflects every tear drop I shed
While yours reflects your sleeping baby face, undisturbed
My soul is heavy and buried on my sleeves
While yours is light and where it rightfully belongs
Can I ever forgive you?
