"I don't think that's thunder."
"I'll go look out the window and see." Steven volunteered. He was honestly scared to find out what was actually going on. He hopped down the steps and peeked out the blinds of the window by the front door. Everyone watched him as he turned his head around towards them, with this terrified look on his face.
"Oh crap I know that face," Amethyst said. "What is it??"
"Uh...uh...come look for yourself." Steven mumbled, in shock from his discovery.
The 'thunder' rumbled and lights flashed as the Gems tumbled down the narrow steps. Garnet lead the way, opening up the front door.
"Stupid ship, stupid old gem tech. Why in the cloddy stars would Yellow Diamond give us this century old ship?!" A familiar voice complained, kicking what they were complaining about.
"Peridot?!" Lapis gasped. She quickly hid behind the gang. "W-what are you doing here?!" She shouted.
Yet another green hand ship sat before them, except it was all dirty and old. It flashed bright red and yellow warning lights and made strange rumbling noises."Hey! Don't forget about me, Lazuli!" A deeper voice called. An entrance to the ship opened and Jasper exited. Lapis shivered in fear. What would Jasper do to her after she kept that fusion up under the sea for weeks?
"What do you want?!" Steven yelled, summoning his shield, surprisingly with ease. He hadn't summoned his shield too much yet, but he was definitely getting better at it. The Gems did the same, summoning their weapons.
"Sh- I mean we want Lapis. Just hand her over and this'll be easier for ALL of us." Peridot said and crossed her arms. She was already annoyed with the entire situation.
"We can't just hand her over like some sort of...item!" Pearl exclaimed defensively.
"Says the one who actually is an item." Jasper replied and chuckled evilly. Pearl groaned. Garnet walked towards Peridot and Jasper seriously.
"I can't stand Gems like you. You think you own the Earth and everything in it. But you don't own anything and I'll make sure you never do until the day I die. You don't even deserve this place." Garnet growled and struggled to not throw a fist at them. Jasper laughed and got face-to-face with the fusion who shouldn't exist.
"Earth isn't what we want right now," Jasper grinned. "But if I don't deserve the planet, then why do you?"
Jasper slammed her fist into Garnet, who wasn't expecting the blow. She flew back, smashing into the wooden stairs of their porch. And with that, she poofed.
