"What the-" The Amethsyt backed away. Everyone was confused in this situation.
Sapphire moved her hair out of her eye to see a bit more clearly, hoping she wasn't seeing right. There was definitely an Amethsyt right in front of her, and she was in fact still at the Galaxy Warp on Earth. She quickly straightened her posture and smiled.
"Umm...hello. Glad to see you on Earth." Sapphire waved. She was nervous but she hoped whatever was happening wouldn't lead to a battle.
Steven gave her a confused look, and Sapphire shrugged.
"I don't understand," The Amethyst said, turning to Steven. "Why is there a human here, Sapphire?"
Sapphire smiled nervously. "Uh...don't you remember? Yellow Diamond commanded you... to take a look over Earth? And...see what's been going on the last few thousand years?" She said. She looked over at Stevenand shrugged a little.
The Amethsyt thought. "Maybe...wait yeah, I remeber that!" She smiled at the Sapphire. "So are you here to give me further instruction?"
"Mmmm..." Sapphire looked at Steven. She was really winging this whole thing. I'm so lucky this is an Amethsyt, Sapphire thought.
"Yeah? Your new assignment is to..." Sapphire thought.
"To dance!" Steven called. The Amethyst looked at him blankly, and Sapphire gasped silently.
"Are you serious? Wait who is she anyway?!" This extremely confused Amethsyt pointed at Steven. Sapphire was really confused.
"Oh. That's just...my, um..." Sapphire's thoughts died in an instant. The Amethsyt started to get suspicious.
"I might be not as intelligent as a Gem like you, but I know a Gem when she's lying." She crossed her arms and glared at Sapphire with an unsure look on her face. She sighed.
"Okay listen here bud," Sapphire snapped. A thin sheet of ice covered the ground. "I'm telling you this once, so you better listen and you better remember." She pushed the confused purple blob to the ground. She slid back right up on the edge of the platform in which the Galaxy Warps sat on.
"We're the Crystal Gems. And I don't care who gave you orders to come here. You're not going anywhere anymore. Because I'm not letting you warn anybody about us." Sapphire threatened seriously. Amethsyt laughed.
"You've gotta be kidding me. All that's left of your rebellion is you and a human. I could get away from you without a scratch on this gem."
"That's what you think." Sapphire shoved her closer to the edge. She started to panic.
"Okay, chill. You don't realize what you're doing. The humans must've brainwashed you or something." Amethsyt said calmly, obviously not too afraid.
Sapphire had this look of frustration in her. This look like she misses someone. A look of pain and weakness that didn't scare the Amethyst. Then a rush of insanity overpowered Sapphire. She pushed the Amethsyt closer to the cliff, so close that she was just barely sitting on the edge."No! Stop! Amethysts sink like bricks! I'll never be able to get out!" She pleaded. Sapphire looked down at the cold water, and then at Steven. Steven looked worried. He hoped Sapphire would make the right choice. And after all, the real assignment the Amethyst was given was most likely something she never wanted to do.
Sapphire backed away a bit, allowing the terrified Gem to move away from the edge. The worried look in Steven faded, and he smiled at Sapphire.
"You're now an official forced Crystal Gem." Sapphire smiled smugly. "This is only the lightest punishment I could give." Sapphire moved away further, allowing the Amethyst to stand back up on her feet.
"Thank you," She grinned, staring at the warp pad she came from with a determined look. "I'll do my best to serve you."
