Amefist cackled at her own actions.
"What are you doing?!" Steven and Sapphire said in unison.
"Oh," the Gem smiled evilly. "Just being a distraction."
They both gasped. Sapphire darted to the warp pad."I knew I should've shattered her when I had the chance." She shouted, warping away.
Sure, I'll deal with Amefist single-handedly, Steven thought sarcastically.
"Just one more to go I guess, seeing how Blueberry Muffin ran away." Amefist said, glaring at the human who suddenly summoned a shield.
"What the-" The sight of a human harnessing something out of nothing caught her off guard, allowing Steven to charge.
He somehow blocked her punches, and was able to throw in a few hits in of his own. Amefist swung at him, causing Steven damage several times, but when his shield literally sliced her in half, he managed to poof and bubble her.
Steven panted, worried about his friends, and exhausted from all the drama and fighting. But at the same time, he was amazed at what he just did. He also bubbled Pearl and Amethyst.
"I'm sorry guys," he whispered. "But I can't risk carrying your gems around until you reform." He sent all three bubbles off, and sent himself towards the house and to the warp pad.

Steven arrived at the Galaxy Warp to find hundreds of Gems wandering around it. It was cramped and very loud with lots of discussion. Steven soon got lost in the crowd. All the Gems were too fascinated by the surrounding water and bright blue sky that they didn't even notice a human slipping past them.
"Sapphire!" Steven cupped his hands around his mouth. "Sapphire are you here?"
It was so loud. Even if Sapphire was there, she wouldn't hear him.
"Sapphi-" Steven tripped on something and fell to the ground. He turned back to find a blue Gem sitting there, her hands on her face.
"Sapphire you're here!" Steven smiled. Tears fell from the Gem's eye.
"It's useless now," Sapphire spoke coldly. "It's all over. We failed Earth."
Steven gasped. Gems chatted and pushed through the crowd in every direction, but everything seemed still and quiet.
"If Ruby wanted to find me, she would've found me. This is all my fault. Just let me be trampled to death by these unsuspecting Homeworld Gems. " Sapphire pulled her hair and forcefully shut her eye, holding back from screaming.
"Sapphire,"
"Steven, nothing you say now is going to be worth anything." Sapphire yelled, turning to Steven.
"Sapphire that wasn't m-"
"Sapphire!" A voice called from the distance. Steven and Sapphire gasped.
"Sapphire are you here?" The voice called, pleading, hoping someone would answer them.
"Ruby?!" Sapphire jumped to her feet, searching the crowd. "Ruby I hear you!" She started shoving the crowd in a desperate search for her girlfriend.
"May I have your attention?" A Gem commanded in a very strict and assertive tone.
All the Gems stopped their rambling and faced the Gem in charge, a Holly Blue Agate standing upon the tallest warp pad. She brushed the dust off her shirt to reveal a Yellow Diamond logo."Now that we're all together, I should inform you all what our next assignment is. Now, I know w-" The Gem stated and continued. No other Gem said a word. It was finally still and quiet. This was a perfect opportunity to find Ruby.
Sapphire continued to shove Gems out of her path, quickly scanning each section of the crowd. "Ruby where are you?" Sapphire whispered.
"We're here for a reason, for said plan in which was commanded by our wonderful Yellow Diamond. And that plan is to build p-"
