"And Steven," Sapphire said, releasing Steven from her hug. She smiled a bit at him.

"Yeah?" Steven asked with a smile on his face. He was happy to see her smile again.

"I want to attempt to find Ruby. With you." Sapphire said, a bit embarrassed. "I realized that it wasn't reasonable to mourn in this situation. Especially when I could do something to help. That wasn't right. I'm so sorry."

Steven smirked. "You're forgiven, Sapphire. We'll get her back. I'm not sure when, but we will."

"So..." Steven started, slightly unsure of what to say. He stood in the kitchen as Sapphire sat on the couch once again. "Where exactly do you want to start looking?" Sapphire also looked a bit unsure.

"Um," She thought, putting her hand to her chin. "I'd like to take a look at the Galaxy Warp, to see what's actually going on there."

"When we went there last, the warp pads were usable but no one had been there in a while. There hadn't really been any sort of sign that a Gem warped there yet, other than maybe Peridot and Jasper." Pearl stated, sitting in one of the stools.

"I'm not worried about what you saw," Sapphire said, walking to the warp pad. "I just want to have a look of my own."

Steven and Sapphire warped to the Galaxy Warp, where they would find all the pads in shiny, perfect condition.

"Wow," Sapphire spoke quietly, amazed. "I haven't seen the warp pads look so beautiful in...centuries."

Steven wasn't too amazed by them. He didn't see beauty in devices capable of letting Homeworld Gems come to Earth.

Meanwhile thoughts of Homeworld brushed through Sapphire's mind. She remembered speaking to the Diamonds about stopping the Gem Rebellion once and for all. All her actions then were something she'd never do now, but the thought of those times would often bring a slight smile to her face. Like Pearl, she would dream of what Homeworld looked like now. And being right next a fully functional warp pad gave her ideas.

"What if..." Sapphire trailed off, sliding her hand down the biggest warp pad. "What if I could just go to Homeworld for a minute, to see what it's all like now."

"What?" Steven was obviously shocked. "Why would you-"

"What if Ruby's right there? Just a few seconds away, yet really thousands of light years away? I just," She stood up on the warp pad. "I know she's there."

"Sapphire wait," Steven called, reaching for her. A beam of light blasted upward. Steven ran to it, hoping to catch the stream and warp wherever with her. Instead, he bumped right into Sapphire who hadn't really warped at all. And there also stood a confused and angry, full-size Amethyst.
