Hey guys! Chapter ten? Yes it is! Anyway, here's the new chapter! :D

-Susan's POV-

We were all sitting in the darkness of the closet. I could feel Wirt next to me and, when I stretched my legs earlier, I nearly kicked Beatrice, so she was sitting across from us. Nobody said anything for a bit; we all sat in the darkness, just thinking our own thoughts. Until, making me flinch, Wirt broke the silence.

"Hey, you guys still there?" he asked.

"Yes Wirt," I replied.

"We're still here," said Beatrice, sounding a little annoyed.

"So..." said Wirt, "How did you become a blue bird Beatrice?"

She sighed, annoyed by the question. She didn't answer, as she and I felt a slight breeze. Was that coming from an exit?

"Hey, what's that?" Beatrice asked, as I heard her move around.

"Hey," said Wirt, " Don't change the subject."

"She's not trying to," I said, as I moved over to where the wind was coming from. "She felt a breeze. It might be our exit!"

"Really?" said Wirt, growing excited. We all moved over to where Beatrice was and waited. We all felt the breeze this time. "There's a breeze coming from here," said Beatrice, looking through a small crack on the floor. I placed my hand on the crack and, when I moved the piece of wood that was there, it should a secret passage.

"Woah!" said Wirt.

"What?!" exclaimed Beatrice.

"A secret entrance!" I said, "Our exit! Perfect!"

One by one, we all crawled out of the closet and started walking, or in Beatrice's case, flying down the hallway. Wirt continued the conversation from earlier. "So about your dark secret-" he said to Beatrice.

"Hey how about you and Susan tell me your dark secret instead," she said, as we went down some stairs and down the hallway.

"My secrets are too secret," Wirt said quickly.

"And I'm not comfortable about mine," I mumbled.

"Hey!" said Wirt, "look! light!"

"Whoa," said Beatrice, looking at the both of us, "Look who's avoiding the question."

"Uh, you," said Wirt, giving her an annoyed look.

"Fine!" she said, "I threw a rock at a blue bird, and it cursed me and my family and now we're all blue birds."

I stared at her in shock. "Beatrice," I said, "I"m so sorry. That must be terrible."

"Yeah," said Wirt, probably feeling guilty for pestering.

"There, happy? Now you two go," she said.

"Your whole family?" I asked. Beatrice nodded and flew up to the ledge by Wirt.

"Is that why your going to Adelaide's pasture?" asked Wirt, "To fic things?"

"That was the plan," she said, looking through the small hole, "But....yeah, that was the plan."

"It'll work out," I said, trying to cheer her up.

"All I know," she said, "is that I'm never going back once I make them human again. I do pretty much anything."

I looked at Wirt, and sighed, "Alright, my turn huh? It turns out that, I'm actually from these woods. Like my family used to live here. But....when we were escaping from the Beast, it took my family and now there all dead and turned into trees. At least, you still have your family Beatrice, and you too Wirt. I got none."
