Hey guys! We get to this cute episode, which quickly turns scary. Anyway, here's the new chapter! :D

-Susan's POV-

"Rain," I panted as we climbed up the hill, "It HAD to be rain."

After what happened last night, we've been walking since. It had started raining early this morning and we were all soaked to the bone. I shivered and clutched my cape closer to me. I noticed Greg was falling behind, so I slow down and helped him catch up.

"Come on Greg," I said, "We're almost to the top."

"What're we doing?" he asked, gasping for breath.

"We're walking," I said, glancing at Wirt. He was covering himself with his cape, trying to get the rain off of him. He was probably still upset about Beatrice. I didn't blame him; it was still shocking and upsetting.

"But where?" he asked, looking at me.

"A place to wait out this rain," Wirt cut in saying. I glanced at him, as he was glancing at me. We both looked away. It's hard to talk now since Greg was around. We needed to talk, but...Greg wouldn't understand.

"But-" Greg panted, "Shouldn't we wait for Beatrice?"

My point.

"Greg," I said, sighing, "We...don't need Beatrice. We'll be able to figure this out on our own."

"Well, that's good," Greg said, standing back up, "I'm glad you guys have a plan." I glanced at Wirt again, and he mouthed, 'We'll talk later'.

We kept walking along in silence, all of us just thinking. "Susan," Greg said, making me jump.

"What?" I asked.

"So, what's the plan?" he asked, as Ben hopped next to him, "Because your not saying any details, because it's hard for me to-"

"Greg," said Wirt, suddenly stopping, making me bump into him. He turned around and said, "We do have a plan, and if you don't trust us then you don't have to follow us. If you want to go look for Beatrice, then go ahead. You can do whatever you want."

"Wirt," I whispered, "He's only a kid."

"We're all kids!" he said loudly.

"I get it, but he's your little brother; he has to stick with us." Wirt rolled his eyes and kept walking ahead.

"Anything?!" Greg said, "That's a lot of power."

Suddenly, there was the sound of a tree creaking and a loud thud of something heavy hitting the ground. "Wirt!" I screamed, fearing the worst. We both ran ahead and saw that the tree didn't land on him, but was blocking the path.

"Oh no!" said Greg, "Did I knock that tree down with my power? I'm sorry Wirt."

I resisted the urge to laugh and said to Wirt, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah," he said, inspecting the tree, "The tree just...came out of nowhere." I looked at the trunk and walked over to it. I inspected the part of the tree where it split and noticed that it hadn't just fallen over; it was cut down.

"Guys, look," I said, "Ax marks. Someone chopped it down."

"Indeed," we all heard. We all looked up and I nearly screamed. It was the Woodsman, who was holding his ax and had his large basket on his back. "It t'was I."

Wirt gasped, and I started pushing the brothers, yelling, "Go! Get out of here!" Greg screamed and we all started running. But the Woodsman grabbed my wrist saying, "Stop!"

"Let me go!" I screamed, struggling against his grip.

"Listen to me," he said, "The Beast knows you presence! Ready to claim you to forever make his dark forest grow and make his lantern burn forever! Only if you give up, both body and spirit, you and those boys shall be safe from him! Foil and lose hope, your life shall pass through his crooked hand-"
