She had barely walked a foot or more closer to the door, when she felt firm arms engulf her. "Shivaay!" She gasped, placing her palms on his hands. Quickly she turned to face him. "Can you stop catching me off guard!" She spoke irritated waiting for her suddenly escalated heartbeats to normalize.
"I can't!" He whispered pulling her close. She felt her blood rush to her cheeks.
"Shivaay!" She gasped trying to look into his eyes.
"You can't stop fighting, can you?" He said finally looking into her eyes.
"Haww..I wasn't you were." She shot immediately.
"No. You.were." he replied immediately.
"See, this is your problem."
"Certainly not. This is YOUR problem." He stated into her eyes. Both of them knew they were fighting to keep themselves insane. They both needed a distraction. Distraction from the maddening desire gradually growing.
"You are impossible, you know that right?"
"You are not different from me in that case then."
"Let me go!" She tried pushing away his hands.
"Never again!" He said his eyes penetratingly looking into hers.
She stared back. Slowly a content smile gracing her lips.
"Shivaay, leave me. Please." She said shyly.
"They think we are drunk. Let's do something crazy." He said relaxing his hold and affectionately looking at her. When with her, he didn't know from where a carefree, playful and living-life-to-fullest Sgivaay came out. He loved doing everything crazy with her. Because when he was with her, he could afford to put all his responsibilities in her hands and be as carefree as he could. Be crazy, stupid and not a soul would know. She kept his secrets well. Very well.
"Not tonight. Some other day. Anyways I pity their efforts. " Anika giggled.
"Okay then let us for something fun. Just you and me. " he whispered the latter part in a husky voice to get her min running in a direction he wanted it too.
"Drive. " she whispered into his ear. Pulling back she completed "till my apartment."
He rolled his eyes, then smiled as she dragged him out. He liked how she had never called the apartment her home, but his mansion. Well, drive with her wasn't that bad an option. With their hands intertwined and the night breeze filling the car. Of course he had taken her around the town rather than straight way to her place. He knew the hardest part of the day would come when he had to drive back after dropping her.
"Good night!" She said and then pressed a kiss on his forehead.
