Jimin and I pushed through the gate and Jin ran to me and hugged me the second I did.
"What are you doing here?! How did you even find us?" I asked.
"Chanyeol told us."
"Oh." was all I said as I pulled out of the hug.
I glanced over at Jungkook as Jimin walked up behind me and wrapped an arm around my waist.
"Why are you here?"
Jin broke in. "He's the one that went to Exo first. He helped me find you."
"Well here I am. I'm safe, uninjured, Now what?"
"Well first off I want you to come home-"
"-Why? So you can lock me in the house for the rest of my life?!"
"Well actually I was going to tell you that you could join the gang."
Everything went silent. You could hear a pin drop.
I looked at Jin.
"But I don't want to."
Jungkook and Jin just stood there, shocked with their mouths hanging open.
"But I thought that was your dream. The whole reason you ran away to this city, the gang capital..."
I took a deep breath.
"It was...at first. But now, the people I've met, the things I've seen, they changed things. They made me realize why you've been so protective of me. I am so sorry. Now I know why you were like that."
I felt tears springing to my eyes.
"Mallorie, Its true. I only did it because I love you."
"I know that now. I know."
I walked over and hugged him again.
"Let's go home Mallorie, and I promise you don't have to be in the gang, and I won't be so controlling. I just want you safe at home with me."
I glanced back at Jimin and he nodded at me after meeting my gaze.
I turned back to Jin and said "Okay."
All of sudden we heard a big bang in the distance, But we ignored it.
He pulled me into one last hug and whispered into my ear "You mean the world to me and no matter what you do in life you will never let me down."
I felt tears dripping onto my shirt, but they weren't mine. I backed away from Jin and looked down at my shirt which was stained red. They weren't tears. It was Jin's blood.
All of a sudden Jin fell to the ground.
Someone shot him... Someone just shot my brother...while I was in his arms.
