I could not believe what I just heard. Does he really mean it? It would be the cruelest, most unfunny joke if he was just teasing me.

"You mean that?" I asked him, to make sure it was legit.

"Yeah, Frisk, I do" I looked at him, I think he is telling the truth.

"You are not saying you are just to make me happy, are you?"

"No, Frisk, I really mean it!" he assured me. "Please believe me..." he pleaded, hugging me really tight. I giggled with relief as I hugged him back.

"Sure, I believe you!" I reassured him. He sighed with relief and pulled back from the hug.

"You know what this means" he smirked at me, teasingly. I titled my head in confusion.

  "What does it mean?"

"It means you have to be my girlfriend!" his tone was attempting to portray confidence but I could hear hesitation and uncertainties in his voice.

"Fine then, I will be your girlfriend—if you will be my boyfriend," I told him. He grinned at me and I could have sworn that I saw stars in his eyes.

"Deal". He stood up a held out his hands for me to grab. I happily took it and he helped me up. We intertwined our hands as we walked through the dark, snowy path, lighted by street lights.

Then I realized I did not give him the gift I wanted to save for when we are alone. "Wait!" I suddenly said. He stopped and looked at me, confused. "I-I got you something before I left for the party and almost forgot about completely, but, here it is!" I handed him a heart-shaped, purple locket with a picture of me and him on my thirteenth birthday. He opened it up to have a red heart with another framed picture of a more recent picture of me. The bottom of the heart was a blue one that also had a framed picture of a more recent Sans. He looked up at me and I looked back, awaiting his reaction.

"Love it," he told me. I grinned.

  "You do?"

"Yep, this picture of you is something else and-" he closed the locket to show me the picture in the front "I remember having to take this picture, Toriel forced me" he chuckled. "I was your age when this photo was taken..." he added.

"Time sure passes fast, does not it?" I commented.

He looked back at me. "Sure does" he grinned "but I'm glad I got to watch you grow into a woman during that time"...he called me a woman! I giggled and hugged him. We intertwined our hands together and continued down the path.

I have not had the time to notice it before but, the snow was absolutely beautiful. I gawked at the beauty of it all before noticing from the corner of my eye that Sans was watching me. I turned my head to face Sans and gave him a loving smile. He smiled back at me.

"You love the snow, Buttercup?" he asked me.

"Yes, I do, it is very beautiful," I told him.

"Yeah" he agreed. "It reminded me of you" he added. I looked at him and blushed.

"Are you trying to find ways to flirt with me?" I teased.

"Maybe" he simply said, "but I do mean what I said, I always say truthful things when I flirt".

"You do? All those things you said to me before was true?"

"Yep, every one of 'em" he blatantly told me. Wow...

Without even thinking of telling the rest of our friends what we were doing, we went on our first date right then. He took me to his favorite places he discovered while living in this area and we had a lot of fun in those places. But unfortunately, the fun had to end because it was getting late (A\N: like this story). Sans and I held hands as we walked back home, Sans lead the way because I did not know where in the world we were or how to get to his place.
