Noise. That is what I was greeted with when I woke up. Sans' voice came from right above though I could not make out what he was saying as I was still connecting the dots to my surroundings. The first thing I noticed (besides Sans' voice) was that I was tightly held against something hard, making it a little hard to move. When I opened my eyes, my brother was right in front of me, but he was looking at whatever was above me.
"Sis, you're awake!" Asriel chirped once he noticed I was awake. "It's about time!". I felt warm air touch the top of my head, tickling the part of the scalp it touched right before I felt something solid gently touch the top of my head.
"Good morning, Frisky" Sans' voice above me calmly stated "Or rather, good late evening in this case". I looked above me to see Sans' face a few inches below me, looking down at me with his signature grin. I looked down to see what was keeping me so tightly against Sans. That's when I realized fully what my surroundings were: I was in a fetal position on Sans' lap and he had his jacket fully around my torso (since my tiny body is able to fit); all I was laying against now was his T-shirt coving up his ribcage. "Me and your bro were just talkin' about ya" Sans' deep, raspy voice cooed.
"What were you both saying?" I asked.
"Good things" Sans simply answered.
"He really likes you, Frisk" Asriel pointed out. I smiled. Of course, he liked me; if he did not, we would not be in the position we are right now. It still made me happy to hear that, even if it was not from him...
"Aww, she already knows that" Sans simpered. "Don'tcha, Frisky?" Sans looked at me expectantly.
"What if I am having doubts?" I said this obviously as a joke; just to see what kind of reaction I could get out of him, but Sans did not see it that way.
"Doubts? Why would you be having doubts?" Sans sounded concerned. He sat up and held me a little tighter. Aww, how cute, he does not want me to doubt his feelings.
"I am just joking, Sans, I know you like me in that way" I made my best attempted to hug him.
"Alright, well, I'll leave you two be" Asriel declared, giving me a wink before getting up and going into the room beside us where everyone else is.
"Hey, Sans?" I asked after a moment of silence.
"Hm?"
"Can I please get out of here?"
"W-what do you mean?" Sans sheepishly inquired. I answered his question by nudging his jacket and sheepishly grinning at him. "Oh yeah" Sans quickly unzipped his jacket and I lifted my whole upper body to let him circled it off me. I laid back on him, changing my position to nuzzle into his neck.
"I love you, Sans," I almost absentmindedly told him. Telling him that was almost habitual for me even if I meant it every time I said it; I keep forgetting that it makes Sans uncomfortable; I do not think his feelings for me are as strong as mine are for him. That is okay, though; it is bound to happen to some couples.
~Sans' P.O.V~
I never knew how to react when Frisk told me she loved me. I loved her so much more than she thinks but I'm a coward and didn't have the "balls" to tell her that (pun intended). I would usually just kiss her where ever the closest part of her was to my mouth, hoping that gesture would let her know I felt the same.
On another note, I also noticed her change in hair. It wasn't much of a change, she just had a bundle of most of her side hair in a ponytail. It was quite cute but when is Frisk ever not cute? Now that I think about it, I've never really seen Frisks's hair in anything different besides it just being down; what was the reason for it now?
