Stupid Fireworks

Not long after that whole...surprising event happened, Toriel told everyone that it was about time to go to mount Ebbot to watch the fireworks. That was our tradition every 4th of July and New years, we would go to the top of mount Ebbot (we were the only ones who did this) and light fireworks. Things would be different this time though; Alphys and Undyne wouldn't be the only ones sharing a kiss tonight, I had Sans looking forward to that. Honestly, I was completely caught off guard with what Sans' responds was. I did not expect something like that coming from my little marshmallow man...at least not yet. Though I would not dare to admit it to anyone, I actually loved the way it felt; I do not care that he did not have lips. His deep and raspy and incredibly sexy cooing voice whispering into my ear sent delicious shivers down my spine; the way he seemed really into it made me want to follow along. Oh my God, that was a new experience I had no idea would feel so nice; I found out my greatest weakness was my neck; holy goodness, that felt good. If it was not for the fact that everyone else was in the same room, I would have not stopped him. I did not realize all this until after though because I was much to flustered to think about that, now as I was riding in Asgore's minivan, these thoughts came to me and it made me excited to think of what else was ahead of us. I was a little afraid as well, what if me pushing away Sans from kissing me made him think I did not want that kind of physical contact as well, even when we are alone. If he does believe that, he is dead wrong; I wanted to experience that and maybe even more. I hope he tries again later when we are alone.

Sans had his arm wrapped around my waist and his head on my shoulder. I was so busy thinking these thoughts that I did not even think that Sans could fall asleep. "Sans" I whispered, trying to get as close to his hear as I could. I wanted to see if he actually was asleep. Sans almost instantly opened one of his eye sockets, his white pin-pricks looking at me and his never fading grin becoming wider at the sight of me. Huh, I guess he was awake the whole time, I thought. I brought my hand up to rest it on Sans' cute, boney cheek before caressing it gently. "Hiya, Sansy" I cooed. Sans hummed happily before closing his eyes and gently taking my wrist and kissing the palm of my hand. "Your not sleepy already, are you?"

"Nah, just Sansy being Sansy," he told me. Oh, that is really cute, I thought. He just used the nickname, he must like being called that; that is good; I like calling him that.

"That is good, I would not want you falling asleep before I can kiss you," I told him. He chuckled at that and stood up, rubbing his head.

"Your the one who said I can't kiss you" Sans pointed out. I frowned at this.

"That is only because I want our New Years kiss to be significant, I do want to kiss you" I clarified. Sans turned more towards me and wrapped his other arm around my waist before laying his head back on my shoulder, encasing me in a huggle.

It did not take us long to get there as we were not far away. Asriel and Chara were one of the first people to leave. Asriel talked to Chara about how great the view of the night sky was and it is amazing for star gazing. This got Chara really excited and she could not wait to view it. Asgore, however, called them back to help with carrying the firework rockets. They abided with a grumble.

After a while, the only ones helping with the firework rockets were Asgore, Undyne, and Papyrus; everyone else was already laying down on blanket-covered grass. I was sharing one with Sans and Papyrus; Asriel and Chara are on two different blanks but Asriel put his right beside her's; Alphys and Undyne were sharing one and Toriel and Asgore...well, they were on opposite sides of the area around everyone else; it is sad really, but that just how divorce is; I hope they get together in the future; they were so good together.

PAPYRUS, NO! THAT'S NOT HOW IT WORKS!" Undyne's voice boomed from the top of the mountain. We always watched the fireworks from the entrance of the cave that had the huge hole that both I and Chara fell through; whoever was lighting the fireworks did it on the very top of the mountain. Oh no, it sounds like Papyrus and Undyne got into an argument about the fireworks. I hope they are both okay, I thought.

After a while of them urging, they all came down with sour faces and firework rockets on their shoulder. "Before anyone says anything, we are not responsible for anything that might happen" Undyne was the first one to speak up.

"Oh my, what happened?" Undyne's words piqued Toriel's interest.

"Nothin'...yet" Unduyne answered "we just can't figure out how to get these damn fireworks working and Papyrus here isn't any help either" Undyne gave Papyrus a playful glare. Papyrus gave a glare back and crossed his arms.

"NEITHER ARE YOU ABLE TO HELP, UNDYNE!" Papyrus pointed out. Undyne chuckled when she realized Papyrus was right.

  "Smart boy!".

  "OF COURSE!".
