Squidward had been in Bikini Bottom for as long as he could remember, was there even any place outside of the small town.
Bikini Bottom was the only place he knew about as a young squidling, and he was pretty sure that was going to be the only place he was ever going to know. But being a kid he was totally fine with the town being the only thing he knows, it was his whole life. And he liked it that way.
Squidward had many memories of growing up in Bikini Bottom ; the majority of the he had with his mother, as his father left when he was born. You see Squidward's father was a citizen of Lazy town and got deported by the two superheros guarding the town (Mermaid Man, and Barnacle Boy)
But again Squidward grew up this way and could not give a pickles lump that his father was not there because he grew up that way and knew no other life.
Growing up was pretty easy, in Bikini Bottom to. With its low crime rates and high appreciation for Corporal daddy Shrek the meme God.
That is until squidward and his mom moved.
Squidward didn't understand this, why did they have to move? This isn't fair, was he going to fit in in this new place, was squidward going to get bullied for having different religious beliefs (Shrekism).
