NATHAN'S P.O.V.
"No, smaller." I say as I reduce the tablespoon of paprika Lunar has in in her hand.
"I knew that." She jokes as she adds it to the onions and bacon on fire.
"Garlic."
She adds."Cayenne pepper."
She adds."Half a tablespoon of salt and a dash of oregano." I say and Lunar adds expertly.
"Impressive." I tease as I pinch her at the waist and watch her react.
"I told you I'm a secret chef." She says.
"Uh-huh." I say and watch her toss the frying ingredients.
"I'm only taking your advice because I don't want to emasculate you in the one place tha---" I don't let her finish as she bursts into laughter while I start tickling her at her sides.
"The only place that I what?" I ask tickling her and she is squirming against me now.
"Tickle me because you have a weak ego!" She yells in laughter and I tickle her more at the challenge.
"What did you say?" I tease.
"Nothing!! Nothing! Stooop!!!" She insists between bursts of laughter and I let her go.
"Bully." Lunar says and adds the minced meat while I lean back, watching her.
Fourth date.
I don't believe it.Two months ago I was watching her walk into the room with Lucas in front of everybody, just the same day I'd heard that they had broken up.
And now here she is, cooking at my apartment, stealing kisses at me and teasing me with the brightest smiles on her face.
This was the Lunar I remember from highschool. The bubbly, reserved sexy girl that never gave me a second glance.
I watch her add three spoons of salsa and quarter a cup heavy cream, then put the heat on low as she covers it to simmer.
I don't resist and I hold her waist from behind, pulling her close.
"I don't think I've ever been more attracted to a girl than I am to you." I whisper to her ear and watch her go red as she turns around in my arms to look at me.
"Are you trying to seduce me, Nathaniel Jackson? I bet I'm cooking circles around you so much that you're trying to make me burn our dinner." She teases, rubbing her soft lips against mine and I snatch the lower one in my mouth, biting and nibbling before I kiss her full on the lips.
"You know...when we start...we can't stop..." She says in between kisses, repeating the words I've been saying for the past few weeks.
We never let it go beyond making out.
Because I know I won't be able to stop.
And I can't let her spend the night until we're both ready.
I pull away now, letting reasoning flood my thoughts.
"Okay." I say and she smiles breathlessly.
I plant one last kiss on her lips.
"Alright. I'm done." I say and she giggles as she turns to check her food.
Funny how I thought being with her would be hard, but I haven't seen Lucas for weeks now. For some reason he hasn't been in school ever since he made that appearance at Lunar's room.
It was odd, to worry about him...But I am.
Tried calling him a couple of times but nothing.I hope he is okay.
