chapt. 5 i don't need a babysitter

I got cold pizza from the fridge and wrote on my white borad
'I don't need a babysitter'
"Yeah well too bad you got one anyway"
I rolled my eyes and walked over to my couch and turned on the tv
"What are we gonna watch"
'Tv' i silently laughed and he rolled his eyes 'we're watching once upon a time'
We were on the episode when emma killed hook to destroy the darkness and i was crying
He put his arm around me because i was crying i covered my face in embaressment
"Its ok to cry ya know" he told me
So i did i cried about my parents
I cried about the people i used to call friends
But above all i cried about my voice
He held me and i for once felt safe like someone actually cared
A little later i heard a knock on my door

I got up to open it and it was camile she was crying
"Haylie im so sorry that i havent talked to you but i really need a friend right now" she said while crying
I wen't to hug her than i pulled away and signed
I have a guest at the moment but you can still come in and talk if you need too
"Thank you so much!" She walked in than gasped at who was sitting on my couch

I typed
'Im going to my room with camile you stay here' i showed him what i typed he nodded than i walked twords my room pulling camile up stairs with me
"So the school badboy is at your house and your his bestie?"
'No im besties sorta with his sister'
''Oh still though why's he here?"
'Well its sorta a long story so his girlfriend and 2 other girls started beating me up because jackson drove me to school because it was raining than elena walked into the bathroom where britney and her friends were beating me up than she took me to the nurse and got jackson to drive me home he doesnt trust that im ok so he stayed and now he won't let me go to school nor will he leave' i showed her the text
"O.M.G" she actually said the letters o m g "you know what this means right?"
I shook my head
"It means he cares about you i swear its a love story waiting to happen"
When she said that i started to have a panic attack
"Oh breath haylie count down from 100 that helps grace"
And it did
"I didnt mean to make you panic"

After a while camile went home and i wen't back down stairs to make some food
"Whatcha doin'" i heard jackson behind me
I looked at him with horror and typed

I just got done with my sandwhich than he snatched it and i gave him my

'I know i try' i typed than showed him my phone he rolled his eyes and sat beside me

He laughed handed me my food than pressed play on my show

The next morning jackson was asleep beside me and i got up without making a word than went to take a shower and got dressed i put on a blue v neak sweater jeans and my black ankle boots i put my hair in a messy bun than went to wake jackson up
"5 more min" i laughed silently than sat on him "fine fine im up" he said smiling than pulled me over onto his lap and said
"Next time don't wake me up" than he playfully tickled me till i couldnt breath
Than we headed to school

At school britney was waiting for jackson
Camile grace and elena were waiting for me i had at least on of then at my side all day unless they had to go so britney and her friends wouldnt come after me
Grace and elena were deep in conversation at lunch camile was talking to them and i decided to read a little
after lunch was 5th period one of the periods i didnt have with any of my friends i wen't to the bathroom first because i had some time thats when i ran into britney
"Aw look who it is the little mute whore whos trying to steal my boyfriend"
I shook my head than tried to run out of the bathroom but one of the football team members backed me to a wall inside than punched me in the stomach i winched in pain but i've had worse
I fought back as little as i could i gave the football player a black eye and pulled britneys hair she screamed in pain when i did than told the football player to hit me till i black out
He did and i blacked out
When i woke up i was being carried bridle style to the nurses office it was jackson
He noticed me awake and said acidly
"Who in the hell did this to you"
I shook my head by then we were at the nurses office he sat me down and the nurse looked at me after a few min she said i could go home for the rest of the day to heal
After she left jackson said
"I'll ask again who did this too you"
'Not important and anyway im fine so why do you care'
"Im your friend and your not fine"
'Yes i am now take me home like the nurse said'
The ride home was quiet when we got to my house he came inside with me and sat on the couch i wen't up to my bathroom and found my old razers
And i started to cut it felt good it kept my mind off britney and all the other shitty things in my life
I put a black long sleved t shirt and shorts and i let my hair down
"You ok?" He asked when he saw me come down stairs
I smiled and nodded but he didnt believe me
He walked over too me knowing something was wrong and pushed up my sleaves
