chapt. 11 beach day

Haylies pov

I woke up and no one was home it was a sunday we don't go to chruch so i didnt know were lilly and levi could be
I saw a note on the fridge saying
Hey haylie i went to the store to get some things i brought levi with me so you could sleep in text me if you need anything but other than that i don't want you staying in all day its sunny you should go to the beach or something

I got out my phone and went to the group chat between me grace camile and elena

H:hey what are you guys doing today

C: busy can't talk

G: nun whats up?

E: im free so is jackson 🙄

H: who wants to go to the beach??

G: yeah sounds fun

E: ..... beach = tan = light hair = not pale

H: i have plenty of sunscrean and floppy hats

E: ok fine.. lol

C: i can't go maybe next time

H: ok well feel better ig or whatever (idk whats wrong but either way i'll miss you)

C:yeah

After that i started to get ready

Elena picked me than grace up for the beach we met jackson blake and camron there
Blake was looking at grace she avoided his eyes by looking at me
'You kissed him alot last night you should at least tell him you were drunk'
"I know but i can't"
'Not telling him would make it worse and who knows maybe hes a goid guy'
"Noy likely he hangs around jackson and camron hes probably a badboy and or a player"
'You never know' i srugged
She rolled her eyes and walked twords him
Elena layed a towel out on the sand and put up a big umbrella she really didnt want a tan i put a towel down beside her and sat down i had a little sunscrean on and i started soking up the sun not that i would tan
Ive lived in florida most of my life ive never been that tan ive never been as pale as elena
Jackson came and sat beside me blake and grace were still talking she was laughing so im guessing she was happy camron looked a little sad i don't know why though
"Hey" jackson said cutting off my train of thought
'Hi' i typed
"What were you thinking about?"
'Nothing'
"Ok" he said still curious
'What are you thinking about'
"Im thinking about this girl shes beutifull but doesnt know it she cares about me but doesnt fully trust me because shes scared of being hurt"
I felt my heart sink a little
'Who?'
"You"
I was shocked
'Why?' I asked
"What do you mean?" He looked at me confused
'Why do you care so much about me? Im not worth you thinking about or worring over'
"Not true other than my sister you realise you are the only person who knows anything about me?"
'That doesnt explain why you care about me tho'
"Ok well lets see you're smart funny adorable smol in my opioun perfect even though you see yourself as broken but thats what makes you you"
'Thanks i guess'
"No need to thank me im just stating facts"
I looked down and blushed
"Wonna hit the water"
'No not really sorry'
"Nope not at all" elena said
"'Kay" he said than got up and dragged elena too the water
"Stop it dumbass let go!" Elena couldnt even fend off her brother and she was the strongest female in our class 3rd strongest in our class total
Jackson being first sam being second (he was the 2nd strongest on the football team) elena probably couldve beat anyone of those football players up  even jackson if she wanted too
Which im surprised she hasnt

After a while the sun started to go down and we all went home
Grace was deep in tought and elena was mad about getting her hair wet

When i got home aunt lilly was asleep on the couch and levi was in his room drawing
I went to wake aunt lilly up and realised she had mascara running down her face and her phone in her hand i looked at the last text she had gotten it was from a number 407-675-7775 (fake number)
It said

Hey lilly it's brandon... again i was wondering if we could meet up? Maybe i could meet our son?

I couldnt believe it was him the guy who left lilly right after he found she was pregnant
I hated that man more than anyone he caused my aunt to cry herself to sleep everynight
I hated him more than my own father who left me and my mother just because i couldnt speak
She never replyed i hope she didnt think of saying yes she'd just be even more heart broken and once a hearts broken you lose a peice of yourself and everytime it breaks the more you fade with it

A broken heart kills someone from the inside out and i know how it feels to lose people
A broken heart can be mended by the right person but you'll never feel whole again you'll always feel like a part of you is missing
And if you add anxiety and depression it will kill you
Thousands of people die because of
Bullys, heart break/ loss, anxiety&depression
Its a hard world and people are hurt everywhere and they all say there fine but we arn't and take me for example i hide behind a screen to say these words because im scared were all scared and for those of you who can't relate to this message you're lucky in one way or another
But remember even tho shit goes on in our lives we don't need to take it out on others
And i mean every word in this message so for those of you who can relate
'Im not going to tell you everythings going to be ok because idk'
But i will tell you find that one person who cares about you or the multipe people who care and talk to them and if you think theres no one write a story about your life and share it don't say its real if you don't want people to know but write that story to show the world your pain because sometimes even if no ones knows its you writing it down it helps ease your pain
