Chapter Thirty One

JENO

"I told Raven that I didn't want to see you.  Why are you here?!" Jie screamed as soon as she saw me.

I didn't mind that.  I was too focused on her appearance right now.  She looks so different!

"Didn't you hear me Jeno? I don't want to see you! Leave already!" This time, she pushed me away but I hugged her.  I hugged her like I've never hugged her for a year.

Seeing her suffer like this broke me.  Her weight obviously dropped down.  Her cheekbones are showing.  The bags under her eyes has gotten deeper and darker.  And one of the things that Jie loves is her hair but she lost it.

I left her unconscious but with a healthy hair and a pretty face.  Sure, my Jie is still my Jie but she looks a lot different.

"Baby I'm here to see you" I told her.  Tears were already forming on my eyes as I looked at hers.  She looked pissed and angry but when I looked deeper into it, I can tell she missed me but she's afraid of everything that's happening.

"Are you stupid or something?! Can't you understand that I don't want to see you anymore?! Jeno please!" I couldn't take what she's been saying anymore.  I didn't care if we're in a hospital right now.  All I wanted was to make her understand why I'm here in front of her.

"Can't you understand that I want to see you?! How mush I've missed you?! I was so damn worried because I don't know what's happening to you inside this fucking hospital while I was away! I waited for this day because I was already able to see you again but you keep on pushing me away!  You're telling me you don't want to see me when I can clearly feel that you want to!" I couldn't help but yell.  She stood at the opposite side of me quietly.  

Tears fell down her cheeks.  I slowly walked towards her.  Jie looked down as I faced her but I gently lifted her chin up to face me.

"Baby are you scared?" I asked her softly but full of concern.  It took her a while before she nodded her head.

I kissed her forehead and hugged her.  She hugged me back and cried silently on my chest.

"Why are you scared baby?  What's bothering you?" I tried to get a glimpse of her face but she would always turn her head to the other side.

"I'm ugly." That's all she said and I just laughed at her silliness.  She just looks tired that's all!

"No you're not.  You're so beautiful baby! Who ever said you're ugly, I'll really kill that person.  Is that all that's bothering you?" This time, she distanced herself a little to me to look at me in the eye.

"I'm scared because what if I don't survive? What if one day I slept and won't wake up the next morning? OR What if you'll get tired of looking at my ugliness and look for another girl? Jeno there's a lot of things--" I didn't let her finish by kissing her.  She's talking nonsense too much and she had to stop so I did stop her!

"I love you" I mumbled in between our kisses earning a very seductive moan from her.

I felt something that I've never felt before.  

Tightening my grip around her waist and pulling her closer to me got me another moan. 

I can do this all day! 

I'd love to hear her do that every second! 

The room got hotter, I started to loose control.  All I was thinking of was Jie.

"Jeno, stop." Jie pushed me away from her then I saw that her nose was starting to bleed.

I immediately looked around for a tissue and gave it to her.  Was about to call a doctor but she stopped me.  And her nose is still bleeding!

"I'm fine Jeno.  No need to worry about it." Then she flashed me her sweet smile.  I felt like crying but I remembered that she's in front of me and that I'm trying to be a man for her.

I caressed her cheeks as she tilted her head and closed her eyes.  Thinking of kissing her again but a knock on the door was heard.

Jie gently put my hands down and smiled weakly at me.

"Come in!" Was she said then a doctor came while Raven and my hyungs followed.

Hyungs were too shocked that they couldn't even greet my girlfriend nor give their gifts and sit on the chair.

The doctor checked the machines if they were working properly and had a little private conversation with Jie.  I got a little conscious and jealous because he was handsome and was smiling at my Jie too widely then PATTING HER HEAD AND HUGGING HER!

"Well, Jie and the doctor must be so busy hyungs.  I think we need to go!" I said sarcastically and loud for them to hear.

Jie turned her head to my direction and bid goodbye to the doctor.

She approached me and gave me a back hug.

"Don't go too soon! Stay a little bit Jeno~" She pleaded which made me smile

"Is this the time where we'll leave the room and you two will eat each other's faces now?" Johnny hyung joked.  I rolled my eyes at him and Jie just hid herself behind me in embarrassment 

"Get a girlfriend Johnny Seo so you'll know what you're talking about." I told him and they just laughed. 

"Jeno, I have three months before my surgery.  Can you stay here before my surgery?" Jie whispered on my ear.

I lost my smile after she said that.  Surgery? Who knows what could happen!

Why didn't I know about this?

"Everybody.  Out of the room right NOW." I ordered.  They knew I was dead ass serious that's why they didn't even bother ask me why and just waited outside.

"Surgery?! But you're already in a critical condition! It's too dangerous for you to take an operation!" I couldn't help but yell.  This is frustrating! I'm gonna kill that doctor if something bad happens to Jie!

"Calm down Jeno.  It's three months away! We can enjoy things while the date is not yet near!" 

"But it's too dangerous! Don't you have plans on changing your mind? Baby please? I don't want to lose you." I knelt down and hugged her knees and just started sobbing.  

"I-I can't change my mind." And that broke me even more.

She knelt down with me and hugged me.  

"I'm going to be fine.  They're professional doctors!" She convinced me but I still felt unsure.

"Let's go out and celebrate after your moving up ceremony okay? Then, we'll go have a good summer together.  Sounds good to you?" I nodded like a little kid

If this is the only way I'm able to change her mind then I'll be happy to do it then!
