15 4 2

and all i can think is

he's gone, he's gone, he's gone.

the wicked queen in front of me is laughing.

laughing, when my whole world is shattered to bits.

"where is he?" i spit.

"why should i tell you?"

dog rose: she who takes pleasure in pain

an accurate description for the ruler of the seelie court.

with a snarl,

i shoot.

a faerie warrior lies dead on the floor.

her laugh is shrill.

"little archer boy,

i underestimated you."

of course you did, for i am nothing but a fool to you.

because you think that only fools

fall in love.

you are wrong.

the seelie queen finally turns to me.

"sharp," she says,

"sharp are the arrows of a broken heart."

-my love is gone, so i will burn the world to find him again //n.h.
