Zayn's p.o.v
By the end of the English lesson we had it all planned out step by step and if something went wrong we had backups. There was no way she could say no. The plan would start Wednesday afternoon. We all had an early finish and Maddie would go to Ari's house. That's where it would all start. But for now, we just had to wait and work on the plan, setting everything up and making sure it all goes smoothly.

Maddie's p.o.v
Tuesday went by uneventfully but on Wednesday something was up. Zayn, Harry and Ari were all acting weird. They all wore a grin that just screamed we're planning something. Not only that, but they also refused to acknowledge me when I asked what was up. Have I done something wrong? The bell rang and third period was over. Thank the lord. The good thing about Wednesdays is that I can leave after my third class. I walked out of the classroom and went to my locker because Ari agreed to meet me there. I opened my locker to put my books away and a piece of paper fell out. I knew from the smell of the paper that it was from Ari. She always, and I mean ALWAYS, added a spritz of lavender perfume to all note, papers and assignments. It was her little trademark.
Hey Mads. Change of plans; meet me outside by the car.
Love you.

Change of plans?? Ari never changes her plans. Eh, it was probably nothing. I shrugged it off, shut my locker door and started heading towards the front car park but when I reached Ari's car, no one was there. I waited about five minutes before Ari came running to the car.
"Sorry, class was in the library and I had to stop by my locker afterwards." She panted.
"Haha it's all good but let's go. I want lunch." I said as a smirk grew across her face.
"YOUR SHOUT!!" We both shouted earning strange looks from the people around us.
"We pay for ourselves??" I asked.
"Sounds good." She replied
When we got back to Ari's after lunch, I could tell something was up. Ari just kept smiling. It had been like this since we left the bakery but she insisted nothing was up. We walked up to her front door and sitting right on the door step was a huge bunch of roses. There were so many different types but the red ones stood out the most. Red roses were my favourite. I glance over my shoulder at Ari who gave me a 'go ahead' look. I picked them up and smelt them. They brought back so many memories of my old life. Running around in my backyard being chased by Mum or Dad. Helping Mum gardening in our rose gardens at the front of our house. The flowers dad always brought mum home for no reason at all. They smelt like all the spring picnics we would go on as a family to the park. Tears started welling in my eyes. I spied a small piece of paper amongst the roses. I pulled it out and read it.
Hey beautiful. Hope you like the flowers. A little birdie told me they were your favourite. Have a good night.

P.s Check the kitchen counter. I left you a little present.
I turned around to Ari and she smiled.
"Shall we go in?" She asked. I nodded in reply. She opened the door and I took my flowers inside. We were greeted by Ari's dog Aurora, or Rory for short. I gave her a quick pat and belly scratch and headed towards the kitchen. I placed my gorgeous followers down on the kitchen counter and found my next present with another note attached.
Hey babe. I hope you like these. I know you were probably expecting food because you know, it's on the kitchen counter but you've already had lunch and I figured you wouldn't be hungry anymore so go on, open your present.
