Alexis' POV
We trampled over the piles of twigs and leaves, making our way towards whatever it was Rye had set up.
"Here we are," he said letting go of my hand as we turned a corner, opening up a beautiful array of twinkling fairy lights hung across a canopy of white sheets.
Pillows scattered on the grass with a big projector set up in front."It looks amazing..." I said before he joined his hand back up with mine and pulled me away to go and have a more in-detailed look around.
"Thank you for all this Rye," I said as we sat down amongst the snuggly blankets and pillows.
He smiled back at me, "you may also want to thank the other boys aswell, they went out this afternoon and set it all up."
"I will," I nodded.
"Pizza?" Rye asked
"Err, is that even a question?!" I replied earning a laugh from Rye.
"I'll text Brook." He explained.
After around 20 minutes of us watching the start of a movie , we got bored so we engaged in a very random conversation but it was hilarious to be a part of. Just being in his presence puts a smile on my face.
A faint sound of impact on a pile of leaves could be heard, followed by a trail of footsteps coming towards us.
"Here he is!" Rye said shooting up and jogging over to Brooklyn.
"Hey, you hungry mate?" Brook asked as Rye took the pizza box from his grasp.
"I haven't eaten all day, thanks though bro," he said doing a weird handshake with him.
"No problem, see you in a bit you two," he called before turning away and walking back in amongst the trees.
Rye came back over and set the pizza down in front of us.
He opened the lid, revealing the most deliciously, cheesy looking pizza with chicken pieces and sweetcorn sprinkled on top.
"Oh my god, you remembered." I said astonished as I didn't think he would actually take note of what I was saying in any of our useless conversations that take place at 3am when neither of us can sleep. Which was when we had happened to have been talking about our favourite toppings on pizza.
"Of course I did! You plonker, I'm smarter than you think." He said tapping his temple afterwards.
"Says the person who said Slough is the capital city of England!" I said, knowing what he had said about Slough was a joke.
"It was the first thing that came to my head!" He laughed, in which I joined in with.
We dug into our food and carried on chatting away to one another. I can't believe how well we get along, well, how well I get along with all of the boys, not just Rye. I don't understand how I've only known them a few days, but it feels as though we have been speaking for years whenever I talk to any of them. I'm so thankful for how nice and welcoming they have been to me.
After what seemed like not long at all, but realistically it was probably a good couple hours of us sitting and talking to each other - getting to know more things about the both of us, our similarities and differences, getting used to the others personality - darkness had crept up on us. The moon shone brightly in the dark blue sky, surrounded by an endless amount of stars.
"Come with me," Rye said as he stood up and brushed off his hands on his jeans. He held out his hand for me to take. I copied his actions and stood up, then accepting his hand.
