"Good morning," Rye sang in his deep husky morning voice.
I opened my eyes, fully exposing myself to the sunlight peeking through the curtain that I'd been trying to ignore for the past few minutes.
I turned over to face him, pecking his lips, "I have no idea how you have so much energy even though you've just woken up." I giggled with a smile. He grinned at me before kissing my cheek.
"So what do you wanna do today?" He asked sitting up and stretching his arms out above his head.
I shrugged my shoulders still engulfed by the bed covers.
"Didn't you say the other day that you wanted to see some of your family soon?" He asked remembering what I had dropped into a conversation we had a few days ago.
"Yeah," I replied with a nod as I sat up intrigued.
Rye's POV
"Why don't we go today?" I smiled knowing she'd love the idea of being able to see her family after quite a while of not visiting them.
Her face lit up, I know how much her family means to her just like how much my family means to me. I'd hate to be the one stopping her from seeing them.
Obviously she agreed and we quickly got up and out of bed. I made us both a bowl of fruit for breakfast while she had a quick shower.
She threw on her dressing gown, her hair still tied in a towel while she ate the breakfast I had made for her.
She thanked me along with a soft kiss on my lips before wandering off back into the bedroom so she could get ready for the day.
I smiled at how lucky I actually was. She's perfect and everything I'd look for in a girl.
I'm starting to be able to imagine a proper future with Alexis, and I genuinely couldn't be happier.Alexis' POV
Once I'd eaten the bowl of fruit and drank the cup of tea Rye had made me, I made my way back into the bedroom and sat in front of the mirror that was leant against the wall.
I plugged in the hairdryer and took my hair from out the towel, drying the majority of it before stopping and setting it beside me.
It was coming up to 9:30 now and I could hear the others waking up and roaming around the flat.Rye came into the bedroom and laid on the carpet beside me.
I smiled hoping he'd catch on like he usually does.
"What do you want me to do?" He groaned with a roll of his eyes.
I grinned, "can you pass me my make up bag please?"
"Of course I can." He opened his eyes big and smiled sarcastically as he stood up and went to the other side of the room to retrieve the bag.
"Thankyou." I said before planting a short simple kiss on his lips."How on earth do you do that?" Rye asked with bewilderment as he watched me style my hair into 2 dutch plaits on the top of my head and letting the rest of my hair stay down.
"Practice." I shrugged slipping the small black bobble onto the end of the second and final plait.
"Are you ready now?" He asked after he had been talking to me while I did my hair for the past 20 minutes.
"No," I laughed, "have you seen me take anything out that bag yet?" I asked rhetorically pointing to my makeup bag he had actually passed me himself earlier.
He put his head in his hands, "I'd hate to be a girl, it's so much work in a morning," he sighed.
"Good job you aren't one then isn't it, unless theres something you're not telling me." I joked.
