Ha Neul woke up to the scent of vanilla and coconut assaulting his nose. He looked down at the mass of curls that was messily laying under his face. As he blinked the sleep from his eyes he realized that you did not wrap your hair before bed. He chuckled to himself when he realized that you would wake up annoyed that your hair was messy and blame him for it. He knew that as long as he volunteered to help you detangle your hair you won't stay mad at him for long. He spent a few minutes admiring your beautiful face and your beautiful and very naked body. When he came home yesterday on Christmas Eve you had greeted him with dimmed lights, chocolate sauce and a very sexy lingerie outfit in red that exposed more than it covered. Let's just say you were too tired to bother with wrapping your hair up when he was done with you. He looked at you with such love in his eyes. Sometimes he couldn't believe that he had such a beautiful and amazing wife when he was just an average nerd. He remembers when he first met you. You had moved to South Korea to attend university. You were studying computer programming and animation. Being one of the few girls in that program and the only black girl made you stick out like a sore thumb. He had always been a shy and awkward guy around people and especially around girls. You were both in the same program and shared a lot of classes. He was often partnered with you for group projects. You were so nice and sweet that he was comfortable with opening up to you and eventually you became good friends. It was in your third year of school that he began to notice that you would act differently around him. He had a crush on you from the moment that he saw you but he figured that you didn't date Asian guys and if you did he definitely wasn't your type. Little did he know that his feelings were not one sided. When he began tutoring another female student he noticed that you had begun to be rude and snap at the girl. He confronted you on the issue because he never knew you to be so rude when in your anger you accidentally confessed your feelings to him. To say that he was shocked was an understatement. It gave him the confidence to confess that he liked you and he wanted to start a relationship with you. He was so happy to be dating you. You were his first girlfriend and you guys rarely fought because you were very compatible with each other. Ha Heul remembers how nervous you were to meet his family and how shocked you were when they received you well. His mother confessed that she didn't care that Y/n was black. She was worried that he was gonna be a bachelor his whole life or even worse gay. He finally slipped out of bed after spending twenty minutes reminiscing in bed to make breakfast. Chocolate chip pancakes, bacon and lots of maple syrup with fresh squeezed orange juice. He was just finished setting the table for two when you came downstairs in a black satin night robe, you hair in a messy bun and some Elmo fuzzy slippers. "Merry Christmas my love" he said. You squealed when you saw your favourite breakfast "Awwww Babe Merry Christmas!!!!! This is the best!!!" You replied kissing your husband all over his face. He laughed at your silliness and both sat down to eat. He noticed that you seemed very excited this morning. "You seem very excited today. More so than usual" he said looking at your face. He noticed that there was this glow about you and you looked radiant. "Well for one your gonna detangle my hair for me because you made me too tired to wrap it up" Ha Neul smirked "I didn't hear you complaining" You playfully rolled your eyes at him " That's not the point and secondly..." you trailed off. You pulled out a little bag and gave it to him. "Merry Christmas" you said to him. Ha Neul looked at the bag puzzled and opened it. He looked up at you so fast you thought he almost snapped his neck. "Is t....this true?!? Really? AAre yyou for real?" He stuttered with both shock and excitement. "I'm going to be a father?!" You loved the look of wonder on his face. He got up from the table, picked you up and twirled you around. "Boy if you don't put me down, you're gonna induce morning sickness spinning me around like that." He immediately put up down. "Oh I'm so sorry. Are you ok? Are you feeling dizzy? Do you need anything? Are you in pain? Wait, how far along are you?" He rapidly asked a bunch of questions. You put a finger on your husband's mouth to shut him up. You chuckled at his expression, he looked like an over excited kid. "I'm 8 weeks pregnant. I only found out last week but I didn't tell you because I wanted it to be a surprise. It's our first Christmas as a married couple and I wanted to get you a very special gift" you said joyfully. Ha Neul was looking at you with so much love and happiness. He felt like he could just burst with excitement. He then kissed you sweetly wanting to show how he was feeling. When he pulled away he looked at you with suspiciously shiny eyes and said "This is the best Christmas present ever. All I got you was some pretty jewelry and here you are giving me a gift that has no measure." You laughed at your husband. He was so sweet and corny you couldn't help but feel a bit tearful yourself. "Hey don't cry. I'm very happy" He said wiping your tears. You didn't realize that tears were running down your cheeks. "I'm not crying because I'm sad. I'm crying because I'm sooo happy. I love you so much and that fact that we get to experience having a child from our love is just amazing. It's almost like this is all a beautiful dream." You said as you sniffled. Your husband looked at you and said "I love you too. I'm blessed to be your husband and blessed to be a father. You and this baby are the best things that have ever happened to me." You both held each other as you savoured the Christmas morning and the news that your little family was going to expand.
