Kim Jisoo - Positive Experience

PART 2

It's been a year since Y/n and Ji Soo met and their friendship had grown since then. Ji Soo had been tremendous help in getting Y/n settled in the country as a foreigner. Y/n had gotten a position as Director of Marketing and Social Media for a skin care company. Y/n was very proud of herself for getting such a senior position at such a young age. At work Y/n met a woman by the name of Park Bo Young. Bo Young was the Director of Domestic Sales and they often worked together. They were the only females that had high positions in the company and the two females instantly clicked. Bo Young was a 34 year old married mother of two and coincidentally her youngest son Won Bin went to the same school as Taemin. The boys were good friends and they often had play dates. Y/n and Bo Young had completed a campaign for their newest skin care line. The campaign had been a success and the two women were celebrating after work with some drinks. "So Y/n how are things going with your sexy neighbour?" Y/n chuckled. Although Bo Young was older she is was very modern. She was open and friendly with Y/n and after learning about her story, took Y/n under her wing like an older sister. Bo Young was very protective of Y/n at work. She helped Y/n settle in her position and get the respect that she deserved. "Unni, we are just friends. He's a nice guy" Bo Young snorted "A guy doesn't of his own free will offer to take a five year old out for ice cream just because the kid's mother said she was tired to be nice. I've been married for 8 years and my husband doesn't do that for his own kids. You both like each other and you both know it. What is holding you back?" Y/n thought about it. She knew that Ji Soo wanted  to be more than friends and honestly so did she. Taemin's father Christian Yu will always have a special place in her heart. He was her first love, first time, father of her child. She will always remember him fondly before life so cruelly took him away from her. "Honestly I'm scared. I don't want to get into a relationship where my boyfriend's family doesn't accept me. If it wasn't for Daniel who was Christian's younger brother, I would have never known where they buried him. His family wouldn't let me come to the funeral." Bo Young frowned at the hurt that surfaced on Y/n's face. She had a few choice words for that despicable family. "I understand that a past experience has made you cautious but I don't think that's the issue. You have already met Ji Soo's mother and father. If anything his mother has been making not so subtle hints that Ji Soo should date you and his father likes you. Plus they both love and spoil Taemin like he's their grandson already." Bo Young spoke.
"But that's the thing would she have been as accepting of Taemin if he was darker? He's half black but looks like he has two full Korean parents. And what about me being a single mom? It's frowned upon here to have a child out of wedlock but because Taemin's father and I were engaged when he died I'm treated like a widow. So I'm an acceptable single mother." Y/n replied. Bo Young simply looked at the younger woman and said "That's a long winded essay about how you're just scared of getting hurt again." Bo Young chuckled at Y/n shocked expression. "Did I ever tell you that my husband Park Hyungsik is 5 years younger than me? I will bore you with my love story later but the point is despite all the reasons why our relationship should not work, all that mattered was he loved me and made me feel happy and safe. Don't miss out on something special because of fear"
Y/n took what her Unnie said to heart. The truth was she was afraid of getting hurt. She didn't want to be happy and have her happiness stolen from her. "Your right. I should ask him out on a date."
Bo Young clapped her hands in excitement. "Good! You can plan a romantic weekend together. Don't worry about Taemin he can spend the weekend with us. Won Bin will be happy his best friend is sleeping over."
Y/n playfully rolled her eyes "It's just going to be a simple date. We are not having sex"
"Well are you at least gonna let him eat you out?"
"Unnie!" Y/n exclaimed feeling her cheeks getting hot.
"What?!? It's not like you have never done it before. Wait? Have you never...?"
Now Y/n was blushing so hard her cheeks developed a pink tint, eventually she mumbled "Christian and I were both virgins. We only had sex a couple times before I ended up pregnant"
"Wow! You're missing out. It's great stress reliever." The women spent the rest of the evening talking and laughing until Hyungsik came to pickup his drunk wife and her slightly less drunk friend.
The next day Y/n decided to ask Jisoo on a date. She felt so nervous about it that she started pacing in her living room trying to decide between knocking on his door or just calling him. Y/n finally decided she was just going to walk to to his door and ask. As she walked out of her house and was about to knock but her nervousness got the best of her. She was about to walk back into her apartment when Jisoo's door opened and the man in question opened the door. Y/n softly gasped when she saw Jisoo. He had on a white t shirt that looked like it was a size too small on his muscular chest and a loose pair of grey sweats. Y/n purposely kept her focus on his eyes because she low key peeped that print in his sweatpants. Her body grew warm reminding her that the last time she sex was a long time ago. "Good morning Y/n how are you? I was just going to go to the gym did you want to come?"
'Damn this man is too sexy for his own good. Got me thinking unholy thoughts' Y/n thought. She forgot that Jisoo had asked her a question when she realized he was still waiting for her to reply. "Oh no I'm good today. Taemin is having a sleepover so I thought I could get some errands done today. But I actually wanted to ask you something" while Jisoo looked expectantly her, Y/n closed her eyes and asked in a rush "Doyouwanttogoonadatewithme?" Jisoo was shocked for two seconds then had the goofiest smile on his face. Y/n was looking at the ground nervously swinging her left foot when he lifted her chin and looked in her eyes "I would love to go out with you." Then He started to chuckle "You know I was actually just looking for an excuse to come to your apartment so I could ask you out. Seems like you beat me to the punch" he began to rub the back of his head as a soft blush bloomed on his cheeks. Y/n giggled as she had noticed that he rubbed the back of his head when he got nervous. She also noticed that Taemin had picked up that trait. "Dinner is at my place at 5pm. See you then." Jisoo nodded and walked back into his apartment falling against his door. He then did a little happy dance because he was so excited. He's been smitten with Y/n from the first time he saw her but he always got the sense that she wasn't ready for a relationship yet. It was 11am so he figured he could spend two hours finishing some work and the rest of the time stressing about what he was going to wear. The date finally arrived and both parties were a bit nervous but mostly calm. Y/n opened the door and Jisoo walked in wearing a dark blue button down shirt on a pair of brown dress pants. 'He should have been a model' Y/n thought to herself as he walked past her. They sat down and started to eat the meal that Y/n had prepared. The conversation that flowed was light but the tension in the air was thicker than peanut butter. They both knew how they felt about each other but no one had gotten the courage to confess first. Jisoo finished his meal and stared at Y/n while she was talking. She looked so beautiful and radiant. He knew in that moment that Y/n was the woman for him and he would do everything in his power to love and protect her and Taemin. Y/n stopped talking when she realized how intense Jisoo's gaze was. "Why are you looking at me like that?"
"Because your beautiful and I'm in love with you."
Y/n was shocked as she was not ready for the heavy confession. Jisoo took Y/n's hand and walked over to her couch seating her on his lap. She looked at him with a raised brow.
"I love you and I know that you feel the same way."
"Well aren't you a bold one?" Y/n said folding her arms under her breasts. "I may be bold but you haven't denied what I said either" Jisoo smirked at Y/n but his face softened into a gentle smile. "I want to spend more evenings like this with you. I want to take you on dates outside this apartment. I want to be a family with you and Taemin at my side forever. Do you know how happy I was to take him to the museum last week? I know that I can never replace his biological father but I want to be a man that he can look up to and admire. It might be too early but to me Taemin is my son and I....... I want you be be my wife" Y/n had tears in her eyes as Jisoo was speaking and was a bit slow to catching unto what he said. "Wait wife? You want to get married?"
"Yes. I don't simply want to date you, I want to be your husband. I want to be a family with you and hopefully grow our family. I'm making my intentions clear because I don't ever want you to doubt me or our future." He slid Y/n off his lap and kneeled before her.
" Y/n will you marry me and allow me to be a father to our Taemin? We don't have to marry right now. We can have a long engagement for a year or two but make no mistake, I am putting a ring on your finger" he waited very nervously for her reply. Y/n looked at Jisoo and knew that she loved Jisoo and had loved him for awhile. Jisoo was an amazing man and a loyal friend. She knew that she could depend on him to a good husband and great father. "Yes, yes I will marry you." She replied with more tears running down her face. Jisoo feeling absolute joy picked up Y/n and twirled her around. "If you don't put my ass down." Y/n said between shrieks of laughter. Jisoo put her down and kissed Y/n with all the pent up passion that he had for her. Y/n responded eagerly and the couple stood for a good ten minutes making out like a couple of teenagers. Jisoo was the first one to break away causing Y/n to mewl. Although he wanted to be physically intimate with Y/n, Jisoo knew the neither him or Y/n were ready for that yet. The couple spent the rest of the night talking and sharing soft kisses, enjoying each other's presence.
