Sorry for being absent. I have been going through a lot and also I been having some difficulties with figuring out new things to write. But I do have some stories written and I will update when I can. I really miss writing😩😩😩😩
I'm writing this because of the recent news and allegations that have been written about the actor Kim Jisoo (Not the Kim Jisoo one from BlackPink she's cool) Honestly, I'm disgusted and disappointed that someone whom I have loved and supported did such horrible acts but I am also very confused and concerned. When the bullying news came out I was appalled and became even more so when sexual assault allegations were also made against him.
I will never condone or defend such actions ever. Y'all stans "accepting" his apology and forgiving him can take a first class trip to Hell. Y'all are TRASH.
Now to get to the more unpopular statement that I have to make. Based on the information giving it is believed that most of these acts occurred about 15 years when he was in middle school. Given he was born in 1993 that would place him at about 12/13 years old. To be very clear I AM NOT DEFENDING HIM, but I'm also not comfortable with ppl calling a 12/13 year old a predator and a womanizer in regards to the sexual assault allegations. So far I have not heard anything about what he was doing during his high school career so I will not make any assumptions about it. All of the allegations were said to have occurred in middle school so until more info is released I will wait before making any final judgements on him. What I want to know is why are the accusers just coming after the Kim Jisoo and not any of the teachers, school administrators and his parents?!?! A 12 year being a bully is 100% believable. A 12 year old sexually harassing his fellow students is also 100% believable. I'm a 90's baby myself and the bullying culture back then was ruthless even without cellphones and the internet. But why is a child bearing ALL the responsibilities of what was happening? I'm going to ask again where the f**k were the adults in this situation?!?!? I would more understanding of letting Jisoo hold the L by himself if he was 16/17 or a college age student. He was 12/13 years old !?!?!?! What the hell kinda school was he going to?!?! How incompetent and neglectful were the principal and the school administration that a 12 year old student was allegedly having sex at school with other minors, forcing other boys to do sexual acts and not ONE teacher or school administrator didn't heard so much as a whisper or rumours? How was this not a scandal back in 2006? Was this normal behaviour for 12 year old Korean boys in 2006? I have way too many questions about South Korean culture regarding bullying and how they pretty much act like it's nothing or flat out ignore bullying. Personally I would like someone from South Korea to give some insight into how bullying was handled. Preferably someone who was born in the 90's and was a kid preteen in the early 2000's. Like I said the allegations made against him was horrifying and I'm not defending him but there needs to be more ppl on the hot seat. I will not just leave the adults in this situation to go free. Matter of fact they should be ALL be held accountable, including his parents. What the hell kinda home life was he having that at the age of 12/13 he was acting out like that? The math ain't mathing and I want answers.
For the time being I will not be writing any more one shots featuring him and I'm honestly not sure if I will be keeping the ones that I currently have up. But it feels like there is a witch hunt with celebrities and no one wants to talk about the society that allows these things to happen. Obviously it's not my place to do more than voice my opinions as a foreigner but I would love to hear from Koreans about how their culture deals with bullying and if things have gotten better or worse.
