Tim and Angie woke up and got dressed to go to the kitchen to get coffee, before waking up the kids. When leaving their room, they noticed the girls bedroom door was open and they where not there.Tim and Angie was worried out of there minds with fear, because they didn't know where they where.
"I'm going outside to find the girls, while you make the coffee and hot chocolate," Tim said to his wife, as he headed to the front door.
Tim put his coat on and headed out the front door, to try and find the kids, thinking they couldn't have gone far.
In the kitchen, Angie had just started the coffee and hot chocolate, while wondering if Tim had found the girls yet.
Angie was so distraught from not knowing if they were OK, she sat down waiting patiently to hear from her husband.
Tim was outside looking around for Taylor and Summer, when he got a glimpse of them running after each other through the tree's and throwing snow balls at each other.
He hollered for the girls to come inside, to have some hot chocolate and breakfast. Both the girls came running towards the door and Tim waited on them to get to him, before going in the house.
When Angie heard the girls laughter outside the door, she was relieved that they where OK. She started getting the table set for the drinks, the food and she was getting ready to start breakfast for the family.
She was making biscuits and pepper gravy, she started by making the dough for the biscuits and to get them in the oven. After she got the biscuits on a pan and in the oven, she started making the pepper gravy.
Tim and the kids came through the door and took there coats off. They hung them up and went in the kitchen to eat.
Taylor and her sister Summer realized they didn't wash their hands, they got up and ran to the bathroom to wash there hands, before going back to the table.
When the girls got back to the table, they sat down just as Angie was putting the food on the table. Tim and Angie sat down with the girls to eat and drink there coffee, before they go out sledding with the kids.
They had finished eating, everyone had helped clear the table and while Angie had washed the dishes and Tim dried them.
The girls thought they might help to get it done, because they really wanted to go out now and have some fun.
The girls knew they didn't get too much time with their parents, because they are always working on their books.
The girls also knew their mom home schooled them, but it was not the same as playing with them. Taylor and Summer were happy that they were finally going to do something fun with their parents since it's been so long.
After everything was done, they all put on their snow boot, hat's and coats. They grabbed the two sleds and headed over to the other side of the hill, where there were hardly no tree's.
When they got there, Tim and Angie told the girls to not come here without them and to watch out for the small amount of tree's around. Tim and Taylor had gotten on one sled, while Angie and Summer got on the other.
They planned on racing down the hill and as they where racing down the steep incline, Taylor was goofing off and fell off the sled, even though her dad tried to grab hold of her.
He then stopped the sled, went back a few feet to get to her and as he approached her, he could see that she was OK.
They where going to stop sledding, but the kids still wanted to and we knew Taylor would be OK to go on sledding.
Everyone went back to the top of the hill to go down a second time, but this time Taylor stayed on the sled without falling off. They all sledded for a while and when it was time for lunch, they all headed home.
They all got back to the and they stopped there feet on the mat, before opening the door and going in. When they all got inside the house, they took there hat's and coats off.
They hung them up, before taking there snow boot's off and going to wash there hands. They went to the kitchen to sit down, to wait on there mom to fix what she was going to fix for lunch.
Angie pulled out some can's of chilli and opened them into a pan, to warm them up on the stove. Angie then went to get the crackers out of the cabinet and put them on the table.
She went to get the drinks, after she stirred the chilli and then pulled the pitcher of sweet tea out of the refrigerator.
The chilli was about to burn, so she turned the stove off and her husband got up to help bring the things to the table.
After the kids finished eating, they had put there snow boot's, hat's and coats on. They went back outside to play, while there mom and dad cleaned up after lunch.
Tim and Angie finished cleaning up and decided to go back out with their girls, after they got their snow boot's and other stuff on.
As they opened the door, to go outside they noticed that the girls where building a snow man, but was having trouble with it. So they went out to help them build the snow man, because they felt sorry for them.
When they got to their kids, they got straight to building the snow man. As they finished the snow man, they decided to go for a walk and get some exercise that they needed to stay healthy.
Taylor and Summer were so happy and started to see all kinds of animals, as the family took there walk. The girls was asking so much about the animals, they where seeing on there walk, because they love to learn about things.
"How could squirrels survive in this weather?" Taylor asked her mom, with a smile on her face.
"They hide in hollow trees for the winter," Angie replied, as she had a smirk on her face.
"Oh," Taylor said with a smile.
