They struggled to push through the snow, but it wasn't that easy to do. But they couldn't give up because of those precious little girls. They were halfway to the house, until they needed to stop because of the snow. It was so high that they would have to go straight up the mountain, to get to the top.
Kevin and Tim noticed that the snow was beginning to stop. But they still had to deal with the girls and all the soft snow.
They decided to take a break, while Tim checked on the girls. Kevin then checked the map, to find another way around the mountain.
As Tim went to look in on his girls, he was hoping they both were doing OK.
"Dad, I need to go to the bathroom," Taylor said to her father.
"Me too," Summer said to him, with an urgent look on her face.
"OK, just a minute," Tim said to the girls.
Tim went to his snow-mobile, to get the blankets he had brought with him. He took them so he could make a barrier, with the blankets for the girls to use the bathroom.
While they where doing that, Tim met up with Kevin to go over the map. They decided to go around the left side of the hill, it will take them to a not so ruff mountain.
Taylor and Summer were done with going to the bathroom and they hollered at there dad for help,to get back to the stretchers.
Both of them walked over to help the girls, then walked them back to lay them down and covered them up before they left again.
Meanwhile Angie noticed that the snow had stopped, but she knew it was still dangerous out there and she was just sitting there doing nothing.
She decided to head outside, to shovel the snow away from the windows. She would be able to look out to see them, when they are coming home.
She was getting cold, but she needed to start getting things done around there. Instead of just sitting, thinking and worrying about them.
Because she knew how strong her husband was, he won't give up on his girls or his family. He would die if he had to, to keep everyone safe and healthy.
She was finally getting somewhere, with the snow on the windows and Angie had finished the front two windows already. She then started on the third window, but her hands were in a little painful, because of her shoveling in the snow.
Angie went inside to warm her hands and feet in front of the fire, to keep from getting frost bite. Well she was warming up and she realized, she needed to put another log on the fire.
When she was able to fill her hands, she stepped over to the log's. She grabbed one, then went and set it on the fire.
When she was all thawed out, she headed back out to work on the last two windows, before starting on the snow on the outside of the shed. When Angie was working on the last two windows, she noticed there was a crack in the window.
She knew that it was good ,that she got this in time, before the snow really broke it. Meanwhile Kevin and Tim was having to take a longer route, they were happy that they did.
Instead of taking the chance of climbing that mountain, they had passed. They decided to stop and make sure the girls where OK, before they continued on there way to the house. When they found a spot to stop that was safe, They got off the snowmobiles and went to the back to check on them, to see if they were OK.
Both girls where sleeping, it was a good thing because they needed the rest. With them sleeping, they could make some time up without stopping for a while.
Tim and Kevin drank some water while looking at the map, to see how far they were from the house. They both figured out, they were not too far from the house know.
Both men got back on the snowmobiles, then started out again. They were heading straight towards the house. It was a straight shot except for some trees, they had to maneuver around.
Kevin and Tim was going good until they got to the tree's and had to slow down, because of all of them. Tim and Kevin kept going slow, because they had to maneuver around them slowly. It was taking sometime to get around the tree's and to get the rest of the way to the house. But both of them knew, they had to get there with the girls safely. They knew all of them would make it one way or another.
Both of them where not going to give up, because they were too close in making it to the house. Meanwhile at the house, Angie was finishing the shoveling of the snow on the last window.
When she got that finished, she went inside to warm up and have something hot to drink. Angie had took the pot to the kitchen and put water into it,with some instant coffee.
She then took it to the fireplace, set it on the fire and then sat down, until the water got hot. Angie was sitting on the couch, thinking that the power wasn't going to be back on soon.
But she wished it would have came on and then she got back up, to make her a cup of coffee. She was drinking her coffee and looking out the front window.
She was thinking that the sky was gloomy and she wished the sun would have came out about now. To warm up and melt the snow, so her family could get home to her safely.
Meanwhile Tim and Kevin we're getting closer to the house, but they needed to stop and give the girls some water, even if they didn't want any.
They found a spot safe enough to stop, so Tim and Kevin stopped and got off the snowmobiles. Then both of them headed to the back, with the water canteen to get the girls to drink some water.
Tim and Kevin waited while Taylor and Summer drank the water, before they would drink some and knew the girls needed it a lot more then them.
When the girls finished drinking what they needed, Tim and Kevin drank what water that was left to drink. Before they put some more snow into the canister, to melt before leaving.
They put the canister on the snowmobile, then made sure the girls where doing good. Tim and Kevin returned to the snowmobiles, got on them and continued on there way.
They started to see the house in the distance, as Tim and Kevin we're so happy to get to the house with the girls.
They both saw Angie coming out of the house, but they were still to far away to get her attention. So they both kept going hard, without any more stops.
Angie went to the shed, with the shovel in her hand. She started shoveling the snow out from in front of the shed, to be able to get in and out of their. While she was shoveling the snow, Tim and Kevin was getting closer to the house with the girls.
Taylor and Summer woke up and noticed they were close to home. From the looks of the surround-ings, the girls were happy to know they we're about home again.
Taylor and Summer were still really sick and hurting, from the frost bite and from being out in it so long. The girls noticed the wolf, that protected them and was still following them.
But the girls knew they couldn't keep him cooped up at the house as a pet. They could let him rome around and still see him or her around there.
They were not far off and were only one mile out, from the house. Both of them couldn't wait to get to the house and get help for the girls.
Kevin knew that all of them were going to have to go to the hospital. From frost bites and dehydration, from being out in this weather and with no shelter.
Meanwhile Angie was about done, when she started to here something. But she couldn't see nothing around, she wondered if it was them and she didn't want to get her hopes up too soon.
Angie kept looking towards the hill, when she saw them all coming over the hill. She then started to cry, knowing they found the girls, as they came closer to the house.
There was a smile on Tim and Kevin's face, even though they had been hurting a lot. It was from the pain of the frost bites and was not going to stop, till they get help for all of them.
