While they were figuring it out, the girls were getting off the frozen lake safely, with the wolf by their side. Taylor and Summer had walked up to the old house and opened the front door.

They stepped inside and found nothing, but an empty house. They knew with the wolf by their side they would be safe and protected from anything. The girls sat down to eat because they were hungry and hadn't ate in quite a long time.

They pulled out one of the sandwiches and a box of juice to share between them. As Summer had ripped her half of the sandwich and gave it to her sister.

They knew they needed to save the last sandwich and drink for later on, hoping that the wolf didn't get into the backpack.

Summer put the backpack up on the highest shelf to try and keep the wolf from getting to it. They laid down on the cold floor, next to each other and fell asleep. The wolf walked over and he lie by their feet.

There was a noise that woke the girls and they sat up in fear, because they didn't know what it was. The wolf got up and sat in front of the girls growling and they knew that it wouldn't be good.

If their parents or a rescuer came through the door with the wolf there.
Meanwhile at the house, Angie was putting another log on the fire, while waiting on them to come home and not knowing if they were alive or dead.

She sat there letting her imagination get the best of her and she knew that she needed to stop thinking like that. Angie started getting things ready for when they get there. Bandages, blankets and dry clothing, just in case it was needed.

She also grabbed water bottles and antiseptic as well. She had been through a disaster before, but not as bad as this one. Angie knew this is the worse disaster she had ever seen in her life time.

Meanwhile Tim and Kevin were searching, but they hadn't found any foot prints. They both were trying to figure out where they could be.

They had been out there too long and were afraid that they might not find them in time. They decided to stop and eat something, because they were getting hungry.

Kevin had pulled out his camping stove and set it on the rock after clearing the snow off, then he lit the burner to put the pot on with a can of stew in it.

They sat there waiting for the stew to get warm and checked the map off , where they had already searched. After they finished marking the map, it was time to eat so Kevin got the camping plates out and started to plate the stew.

As they sat eating, Tim was thinking of his girls, if they were still alive and he had tears coming from his eyes.

"Tim are you OK?" Kevin asked.

"I will be," Tim replied.

"Don't worry, we will find them," Kevin said as he finished his food.

"I just love my girls so much, I don't know what I will do without them," Tim said.

"We will find them, I promise," Kevin said.

Tim finished eating, they cleaned up the things before heading out in search of the girls. Meanwhile the girls were getting really sick and Summer's scratched up leg was infected, there was nothing that could be done about it.

Taylor knew it wasn't good, just by looking at the color of her skin. But when she looked at her feet, it looked like frost bite and it was getting worse.

The girls knew they might not make it home alive, if no one came to there rescue. Both girls lost consciousness, while the wolf went over and laid in between them as he stayed by there side without a second thought.

Tim and Kevin put things up and headed out in search of the girls, knowing there were not many places left that could shelter them.

They started searching the caves as well as buildings, hoping they will find them alive. Meanwhile back at the house, Angie just sat wondering if the girls had been found.

She just kept putting log's in the fireplace to keep it warm for her and her family. She knew there wouldn't be enough log's to last, so she got bundled up and went outside.

She chopped more wood for the fireplace and to keep her mind off of the situation that was going on right now. Angie got the ax and started chopping the log's with a look of, worry on her face.

She finished the log's, knowing she had done a lot more then needed right now, but she didn't have to worry about doing any more later. She started picking up the log's, carried them inside and set them down with the two log's that were left.

Angie then went back out to bring some more log's into the house and stacked them up, to make sure there was more then enough log's in the house.

She was so worn out from chopping wood and carrying them in, so she laid down on the couch not planning to fall asleep, but she did fall fast asleep.

Meanwhile the girls were unresponsive even to the wolf, the wolf kept nudging them, but got no response from them.

The wolf decided to go out and search for other people to help the girls. The wolf struck out in search of help, hoping to return before night fall.

While the wolf searched, Tim and Kevin got closer to finding the girls and they suddenly stopped, when they ran into the frozen river. They got off their snowmobiles to check and see if it was thick enough to go across.

They noticed cracks and a break in the ice, so they decided to go around the river and through the trees. The blizzard was making it hard to see, so Tim and Kevin slowed down to avoid hitting any tree's.

They saw some kind of animal walk by and sit down in there path,to where they had to stop. Tim and Kevin had to make a sudden stop, to avoid hitting the animal and noticed it was a wolf.

They were trying to figure out why the wolf was just sitting there without attacking them,it just didn't make sense to Tim or Kevin.

The wolf howled at them and started to walk away and stopped, then turned it's head looking at them like something was wrong. Tim and Kevin decided to follow the wolf, because he might be on to something.

Tim and Kevin slowly followed the wolf through the trees and noticed there was an old house in front of them.

They turned off there snowmobiles and followed the wolf into the old house, where they found the girls laying on the floor.

They where pale and life less, they walked over to there side and checked there pulse. Tim and Kevin we're happy they we're still alive, Kevin looked for wood to burn and went out to get his ax to chop the shelves down, to make a fire in the old fireplace.

Kevin came back in and started chopping the shelves down, while Tim went out to get the blankets and supplies off Kevin's snowmobile. When Tim had gotten everything that was needed, he headed back into the old house and then set it down.

Tim noticed the wolf laying over the girls, he then took the blankets over and put them on the girls. He didn't want to make the wolf mad, so he just lie  the blankets over all of them and went to help Kevin.

When Kevin finished chopping the wood, he noticed that Tim had already carried most of the wood to the fireplace. He put some wood in the fireplace and got it ready so they could start it.

When Kevin brought the last wood over, he set it down on the floor and then he started the fire. Tim went out with a pan to get snow to melt for the girls to drink.

After Tim got the snow, he came back in and put the pan on the fire, letting it melt until it was all melted and pulled it off the flame.

After it cooled off some, he went to his kids and with the help of Kevin opening there mouth, Tim poured a little warm water into there mouths. The girls started to mumble and they opened there eyes to see there dad standing beside them.

The girl's started to cry, because they where happy to see him and glad they were alive. He told his girls, not to cry that they will be fine.
