"When are we going to go sledding again?" Summer asked with a pout.

"Maybe tomorrow," Tim said as they walked.

"OK," Summer said with a sad look on her face.

"Don't cry little one, we'll do it again soon," Tim said to her.

"A deer!" The girls hollered as the family walked.

"Quite down if you want to see them," Angie told them in a low voice, as they stopped and stood still.

The girls watched as they got closer to them, and noticed there was baby deer's too. The girls started to move slowly towards them when the deer all scattered and they got really sad.

"There is no way you can pet wild deer," Angie said.

The family continued, on their walk around the land and decided to headed back to the house, as it was starting to get close to dinner time.

As the family got closer, it started to snow heavy and they all hurried back to the house.

The whole family had returned to the house, when the snow started coming down heavier and Tim opened the door to let them all in.

When they got in, they took off their coats, snow boot's and hat's except Tim. He had to go out to chop some wood for the fireplace.

While he was out chopping in the cold weather, Angie was in the kitchen fixing hot chocolate so they can warm up.

The hot chocolate was ready, but Tim was still outside chopping wood. Angie decided to have the kids sit at the table and start drinking there hot chocolate.

She was heading to the front door when Tim came through it and Angie took the log's, setting them next to the fireplace.

Tim took off his snow boot's, coat, hat and hung them up. She told him to go in the kitchen to get his hot chocolate, while she gets the newspaper crinkled up and a log put on.

Angie struck a match and lite the fire. When Tim came into the living room to start the fire, he noticed that his wife had already done it.

They both went back into the kitchen to drink their hot chocolate, but the girls wanted more.

Tim had went over to the cabinet and got the instant hot chocolate instead and fixed it for the girls.

Taylor and Summer finished there drinks and headed to the bathroom to take a bath without being told too, while there parents drank there drinks.

The girls got in the bathtub but didn't put but a little bubble bath soap in, because they didn't want a mess like before.

After Angie and Tim finished their hot drinks they started to make dinner for the family, they both decided on chicken and dumplings for dinner.

Tim grabbed the big pot out of the cabinet, while Angie made the dimpling batter. He put the water in a pot and added the two pack's of chicken into it to cook, as his wife finished the dough.

She added them, along with broth cubes to the boiling water. When it was almost done, Angie then started to drop the dough by spoon fulls into the flavored water to cook.

Taylor and Summer had just finished there bath and started to dry off when the smell of food wafted into the room.

It was making the girls mouth water, so they hurried to get dressed and ran out of the bathroom. They didn't pick up their mess in the bathroom, or put their dirty cloths in the laundry room.

Tim walked into the bathroom to see what mess they had made and when he had saw that there was water on the floor as well as there clothes.

He went back to the kitchen table and told the girls to go clean their mess up. They looked down at the floor and knew they where in trouble for leaving a mess.

Taylor and Summer got up and walked out of the kitchen with there head's down and through the house to the bathroom.
When they came back, they looked everywhere but at there dad.

Both girls sat at the table quietly until dinner was ready, while there mom asked Summer to set the table and for Taylor to get the berry punch out of the fridge.

Angie picked up the chicken and dumplings, then took it to the table.  When everything was on the table, Angie started spooning the chicken and dumplings into there bowls.

Tim poured the drinks for the girls and the two of them had ice tea. While the family ate dinner, it was quieter then usual.

Angie knew it's because they didn't do something they was supposed to do and didn't say or ask nothing about it.

When the girls had finished eating, they asked if they could go sit and watch TV for a while before going to bed.

"No your in trouble," Tim said with a frown on his face.

The girls put there head down and where pouting about it. Angie looked at her husband with an ugly look on her face and Tim let out a sigh.

"What is the problem?" Tim asked as he saw the look on her face.

" They cleaned up there mess, so I think it's OK for them to watch a little TV before bed," Angie said.

"Fine," Tim said with a mean attitude.

The girls got up from the table, then went into the living room and sat on the couch watching cartoons.

While the kids watched TV, their parents were having a heated discussion about what happened and about over ruling his decision.

Angie got up and started clearing the table while listening to him bitch about things, she told him too keep his voice down because the kids would here them.

Angie went down the hall and opened their bedroom door and found them asleep in there beds. Angie turned off the TV, after she had heard the weather report.

Angie decided to put another log in the fire before heading to bed. She headed to her room to get changed and go to bed.

When she finished getting changed she walked to her bed, climbed in bed and went to sleep.

The next morning Angie got up, opened the bedroom door and went across to the bathroom to take a shower.

She got undressed and stepped into the shower while everyone slept, when she finished with her shower, she dried off and got dressed.

She then headed down the hall to put her clothes in the laundry room. She walked to the kitchen and started the coffee maker, to make coffee.

Angie sat down at the table in the kitchen, waiting on the coffee to get done.

Angie got up and walked over to the coffee maker to pour herself a cup of coffee, then went and sat back down to drink it.

After she woke up, she decided to get the bowl's on the table, as well as spoons for cereal before waking up the kids.

Angie had gotten the table set but she forgot to pull out the milk and orange juice. She walked over to the refrigerator, grabbed the door handle and opened the door.

Angie then pulled out the milk and orange juice and closed the refrigerator door, Angie headed back to the table.

She was setting it down and when she knew she had everything on the table, she poured the juice into the glasses and went to wake the girls up for breakfast.

Angie stepped into the girls bedroom, opening the door, she woke up  Taylor and Summer for breakfast.

Angie then went to wake her husband up for breakfast and saw that the girls where getting dressed before going to eat.

Tim woke up, got out of bed and went straight to the bathroom with his clothes to take a shower before breakfast.

Taylor and Summer finished getting dressed and hurried to the kitchen for breakfast.

"Slow down girls, the food won't run away," Angie said.

Both girls started walking into the kitchen and sat down waiting calmly for there mom to get there, before they start eating.

Angie walked into the kitchen and poured the cereal and milk into there bowls, she then walked over to the counter and poured her a cup of coffee, before sitting down at the kitchen table.
