"We have to stop meeting like this" Someone said. I looked up to see the smile that I know and love.

"Jerry!" I said as I stood up and hugged him. "Oh how I've missed you!"

"I am so sorry about your mother and uncle. I am sorry I haven't been there for you" He said, his eyes full of sorrow. I chuckled while looking at him "it's alright" I said placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I wish I could stay with you for any longer, but I have to get back" I tell him. He smiles at me "I'll follow you home then".

While walking home I tell him about what happened this time. About how Billy has been so kind to me and that he suddenly was rude to me. Jerry laughs and I look at him annoyed. "What?" I say defensive.

"I sounds to me that you've fallen for him" he says. I stare blankly at Jerry before laughing. When I look back at him he looks serious. "You French men, not everything is about romance" I respond. "It's not, but it could" he answers.

I'm about to ask what he means, but we're already at my house. I hug him right before we go our separate ways. I open the door slowly and walk in. "Abby" Gilbert says sternly when I walk into the kitchen.

"What?" I said annoyed. While sitting on the couch. "What the hell happened at school?!" He said loudly. "What happened-" I started before Gilbert interrupted "don't try to change the subject.

"Billy was rude" I stated. "Yeah, and you slapped him" Gilbert says, seemingly supporting him. "Billy embarrassed me in front of the entire class, and then pretended nothing had happened. I was sick of him never getting any punishment" I responded.

"Okay, maybe a bad time to tell you this, but you will be staying with the Andrews for a while" Gilbert said, squinting his eyes slightly. It was like someone pushed a button and everything went downhill. This day went from bad to worse to horrible. "Why" I said lowly, holding back a scream of frustration

"Because I got a job on a ship, I get to travel the world. Avonlea, Avonlea isn't enough anymore. All I think about is father when I'm here" he explained. I could see his face fall at the mention of his dad.

i let out a huge sigh "fine, go ahead and achieve your dream or whatever". A grin placed itself on Gilbert as he pulled me in a hug. I wrapped my arms around his torso, not tempting to let go. He was all i had, and now he was leaving.

I walked upstairs to my bedroom to start packing, only my two suitcases were already packed. I smiled a sad smile to myself before picking them up and walking down stairs. Gilbert met me and grabbed one of the suit cases.

"So you are leaving right away?" i questioned. He nodded "well, i'll follow you over to their house and then i leave after that".

I gave him a slight nod before looking over the house that i would be leaving. I hadn't stayed here for very long, but it was still home.

I turned around and walked out, since i was still wearing my outer clothes. Just a couple hours ago i was having a panic attack over a stupid boy, and now i was moving into the stupid boys house.

We were standing outside a huge house. The house was white with a dark roof, the entrance was ginormous. I turned around to look at Gilbert.

"I hope you find your peace, Gilbert" i almost whispered. While wrapping myself slowly into a hug. He held me tightly while replying "i hope you find yours to. I love you, don't get into to much trouble while i'm gone"

"i can't promise anything" i said with a wink after i pulled away. "i love you too" i said, as a small smile entered my face. I picked up my suitcases and breathed in.
