Tyn was looking at me as if I was supposed to believe him on what he was saying. I knew it was best not to trust him...

Doctor Tyn sighs and runs his fingers through his hair. "Look.... I'm serious about what I said... I know that when I get pissed off to the point of cursing I black out, but I would never do that to a lady. Or anybody for that matter, that act is something cruel in itself." He says, his face showing that he was telling the truth. "I know you don't believe me. But what I'm saying is the truth."

I scrutinize him silently, wiping my eyes with the heel of my hands. I was still trembling for the thought of what could happen, my body was still tense in case he was only saying this to get me to drop my guard. His eyes said different, and spoke that he was being sincere. No more of that anger, or mocking, or mask that he usually wore around me. Like this had triggered a different side of him people usually didn't see.

Doctor Tyn sighs and I see him move his hand, I jump for a second and recoil from him. Until I realize he's just reaching into his pocket. "There.... have been things that happened... in my past.... that have made me vow never to do that....." His eyes cloud as he pulls out the handkerchief he let me use a while back, his thumb running along the fancy cursive lettering on it.

My interest was peeked, and I relax only slightly. "Wh-What happened...?" I asked, noticing I sounded like some kind of kid asking about the dead squirrel in the road.

Tyn stiffens at my question and looks off to the side. "We... we can talk about that later." He turns back to me and smiles reassuringly. "For now, I want to ask if we can start this relationship over. Not as bitter associates, but," Tyn offers his hand to me, the handkerchief was in it this time. "as friends."

I give his hand a wary look, he was so confusing to me. Maybe he was one of those people with that bipolar syndrome? Maybe I am too, considering how fast my mood has changed with just a few words. Shut up... I didn't know what to think of him, and that was about the gist of it. He only got pissed when there was a direct reason to stimulate his anger. So... I suppose that by pissing him off, I only make my bed and get confused when somebody makes me lay in it. Although.... He was a bit of a creep, Still is dumbass... Hush, so I suppose he deserved the heckling I gave him. He bruised your throat.... Really deserved the heckling I gave him.

After a few moments of thought and searching his eyes for a waver in his emotions, or the moving of a mask. I hesitantly accept it, and shake his hand. "N-no more ripping m-my clothes off..." I mutter.

"I swear, but I can't say anything for if you piss me off. And you seem to like to do that a lot." Tyn says, chuckling a little bit.

"I-it amuses me sometimes... a-and I'm so bored here...." I squeeze his hand a little bit. "N-now promise you won't rip my clothes." My tone was defiant, I wasn't going to take a damn maybe for an answer.

"I promise I won't rip your clothes off..." Then Tyn smirks a little bit. "Unless you ask me to."

I scoff at him and pull my hand away. "Ugh! You dirty man!" I bring my hand into the protection of my knees and glare at him.

Tyn laughed at me and stood up. "I couldn't resist, alright? It was the perfect moment."

"D-dick..." I place a hand on the counter top and slowly start to pull myself up, Tyn offers to help me up. I let him help with one of my arms.

"I know I can be." Tyn looks at me, then away. A slightly dark look comes to his eyes that passes within a second. "I'm sorry I ripped your shirt. Would you like to wear my lab coat?"

Something tugs on the back of my head about that look, a sort of familiarness to it. "I guess, it beats walking out in my bra after that fiasco." Be glad nothing is bruised or broken. Shut up, if what he said was true he would never do that. He never said that he wouldn't hurt you in one of those blind rages, he just said he wouldn't rape you.
