I felt my body moving, not on its own, but like something was holding me. And that something was walking, I'm not sure where. But I could feel arms under my legs and holding under my ribs, keeping a tight but gentle hold on me and keeping me from falling. As I woke up further I could hear something too, so I focused my consciousness on what was being said.

"...st subjects are like that, they fight against it until they lose hope and stop fighting. But she, she has gone into this with little to no fight. Of course... Given the chance in normal circumstances, she would fight full force against it. She will probably continue to fight it..." I hear him say, letting out a sigh. "But it's not a bad thing, for her to be a handful and give me trouble. She's a little ball of fire, one that if given good fuel and formed just right, will be a roaring flame." Another sigh. "I care for my subjects, more than most would, and I care for them even if they are a little bit annoying..."

I hear a door open and the light changes to a darker shade, almost pitch. Then I feel Tyn start to lay me down on my bed, I expected him to lay me down and leave. But he didn't leave, in fact I felt him sit down beside me. One of his hands lingering on my shoulder, then I felt it move to my cheek. His hand was warm, and his thumb moved gingerly over my skin. It was almost enough to move me.

"It hurts me to see how much you look like her.... Almost kills me honestly.... I guess I get to fall in love with you all over again... My dear..." Tyn whispers at me, his thumb stroking my cheek lightly for a few moments before I feel him get up.

I hear his footsteps before the door closes behind him. Once he's gone I sit up and look at the door. Doctor Tyn left me with a lot of confusion, a lot to think about. Who was it I looked like that it hurt him? Why did he act so cruelly one moment, and a completely different way another one? I shake my head as I felt my cheeks heat up a little bit and lay back down, covering myself up with the blanket. And hoping that I could get back to sleep, and think about those questions later.

5 days later

The door pops open and scares the shit out of me, making me almost choke on my last piece of bacon. I look at the door in shock as I finish my bite and expect someone to come in, or at least call my name for me to come out of my room. But none of those things happened and the door remained open. I swallow my bite and slide off of the bed, then start to slowly tip toe over to the door. I peek my head out and look out down the halls, there was no one there. It was awfully quiet, and I check behind the door.

No one there either, but there was a note on the door. I move further out of my room and look at the note, horribly confused by it.

Experiment 3, please make your way to room 504 on level 7. By 8:00 am if you can. - Dr. Tyn

I give the note a weird look and snort a little bit. Alright, that's weird, but I'll play. I turn and head down the hall, taking a peek into one of the offices to look at the clock. It was 7:45 now, so if I got on the elevator and ran I could make it. I start to run to the elevator and call it, wait the few moments for it to get there, and get on. Getting into the elevator alone was weird, I had always had someone accompany me anywhere I went. It honestly surprised me that Tyn didn't send a lackey or guard to make sure I actually made it to the room instead of running off.

Although.... I would probably get caught by one of the other doctors and brought back to Tyn. And that would insue a whole pot of trouble I didn't want to dip into. Not yet at least. I shake my head and start running as soon as the elevator doors open, the tile floor cold on my feet as they hit it hard.

The halls were normally marked for what rooms they had in them, and so I was looking for one of those signs. Of course it wasn't long before I found what I was looking for, a hall with the sign "500-515" on it. I dash down it and watch the signs on the doors. Nearly missing the door I was looking for because I forgot what braking was for a moment. So I promptly caught myself on the flat floor and fell on my face before I actually got into the room Tyn had told me to go to. 504.
