Chapter 6

It was after a tiring day when Jungkook decided to pay a visit to one of the Kang's pubs with Jimin. As he was waiting for his drink, his eyes roamed around the bar, which was less crowded than usual. His eyes landed on a waitress who seemed intimidating enough for a quick fuck. Which was why he found himself in a sloppy makeout session with the girl in a bathroom stall. 

Maybe it was the curves of her body or her oddly familiar eyes. Whatever it was, it seemed to attract Jungkook that much that he found himself laid next to her the next morning. And the next morning. And the morning after.

She was good. Not only in bed. Her face was cute and attractive and kind of gave Jungkook this familiar vibe and her personality also, from what the ravenette saw so far, was one Jungkook was cool to spend time with. He might keep this one around.

Their hook-ups went like that for long that they eventually got to know each other enough to be called friends and their call-ups, little by little, weren't summarised only to sex. They would hang out here and there just to chill, not Netflix and chill, the actual chill chill. Sometimes Jungkook would visit her at the pub and sometimes they would sit and talk inside an empty alley. You could say they were more friends with benefits by now. Her name was Junsoo and she was only one year older than Jungkook.

Junsoo was also the first girl outside of the gang members whom Jungkook found interesting enough to talk to and see more than just a simple sex-partner. He was usually this closed-off boy who didn't even bother talking to his gang members when it wasn't really necessary. So him going out with Junsoo and share part of his days, was something none of the members could have ever imagine.

Things were going smooth. Although Junsoo knew Jungkook was a member of Kang's, she didn't seem to be affected she enjoyed it as she claimed Jungkook pulled him out of his comfort zone. Which made the boy like her more, as a friend.

They never talked about personal things. It seemed family was a sensitive topic for both parties. They never said it out loud but both somehow knew as they always avoided the subject. But only once, when they were talking about their jobs, Jungkook asked her why she had so many part-time jobs as he had found out the pub wasn't the only place she worked at. To which Junsoo briefly mentioned that she had to feed two bellies. She told Jungkook that when she was younger she was in a relationship with someone but after some "hardships and shits", Junsoo's exact words, the dude broke up with her and her parents kicked her out of the house. Though she never talked about the hardships or more.

Jungkook found later that the hardships and shits was actually a child. It was after one of their wild nights in Jungkook's bedsheets. The weather was stormy but what woke Jungkook up was the consciousness head-aching ringtone and not the thunder. It was Junsoo's phone, though the girl was dead asleep next to him and didn't show the slightest sign of waking up. She wouldn't usually stay the night, most of the time leaving right after they were no longer high on rushing hormones. But it seemed this time she was so tired that she went unconscious right after they fucked.

Jungkook groaned and lifted himself on his elbow then blindly searched for the said phone on the nightstand. "Who the fuck-" He took the phone and cracked one sleepy eye open enough to see the caller ID. But once his eye landed on the picture of the caller, there was no longer any sight of sleep in him. Although he had to double-check to make sure he saw right and it wasn't his sleep coated mind tricking him.
