Chapter 3

The next time Jungkook and the little monster, aka, the little brat from the supermarket,  met each other was on a late afternoon, at the shady side of the town.

Jungkook was waiting for his client in a dark narrow alley, which was more of a space between two buildings, leaned on the huge trashcan at the back of it, chewing his gum and lost in his phone when a high pitched voice freaked the hell out of him, 

"You, THAT 'UDE HYUNG!!" 

"What the fu- you?!" Jungkook cut himself midway, shocked to see the little monster in a place like that.

"What do you want?" The boy narrowed his eyes and put his hands on his hips in a demanding way. 

Ugh just like a fucking figuring of an annoying principle. Thought Jungkook. "What are you doing here?!" Jungkook asked back. What a nosy boy. 

"I-" The boy put his hand on his chest to emphasize. "-live he'e. What a'e you doing he'e?"

Jungkook just rolled his eyes. Honestly, after four fucking years of working his ass off in the gang, this was the most irritating moment of his life. Not really, but it wasn't far from the truth. Ignoring the sarcastic question, Jungkook threw one of his own. "Where is your mom? Didn't she teach you to mind your own business?" He grumbled but sounding both annoyed and curious. Seriously which mother would let their kid wander in this hour at such place? And to top of them all, alone. For fuck's sake as much as bothersome the kid was, he was still a kid. Even Jungkook would shit his pants if he was left alone on a dark street at that age!

"None of you'e business" The boy muttered. Jungkook arched his brow in amusement. Now, now. It seemed like the little monster hasn't learned his lesson from their encounter. "Tsk, " Jungkook spit his gum on the ground before straightening himself up. "What a naughty boy you are," The man took a step forward. Taehyung stayed in his spot but his posture didn't hold the boldness as before. Jungkook chuckled, the little one surely had balls if he was still not backing out given how scared he was the previous time.

The younger boy pulled a plastic bag he had behind his back as if to hide from the older. Wrong move, as the sound only caught the ravenette's attention. Jungkook nodded his head to the plastic bag. "Whacha hiding kid?"

Taehyung quickly shook his head. "Nothing!" 

"Uh uh, that's not how you talk to you're elders is it?" Jungkook put one of his hands in his pocket, the same one he had his knife in. The kid's eyes followed the movement, visibly remembering which pocket the knife was in as he gulped audibly only to make Jungkook bark a laugh. 

"Puppies' foods..." The younger mumbled.

"What?" Jungkook stopped pulling the knife out, deciding to show some mercy. "P-Puppies... I b'ought them food..." This time he spoke louder.

"The fuck..." Jungkook mumbled.  What puppies? A rogue dog could barely make it in this area. Then, as if on cue, some whinny noises were heard from the back of the small alley. Jungkook turned back to the younger only to see him already looking back at him expectedly. "What?" He shot at the boy, making him flinch a little. Okay, maybe he was a little harsh now. But the boy quickly coughed and puffed his chest, wanting to appear unfazed. The nerves this kid had. 

"Will you move o' not?" Nope, still the same annoying kid. Jungkook was not sorry about barking at him earlier. "What if I don't?" Jungkook raised his head, challenging the small human. 

He watched as the boy frowned, trying to come up with something to challenge back, but seemed to fail as his shoulders dropped and sighed loudly in defeat. Jungkook howled happily in his mind, gotcha! But quickly cursed himself when he realized it was a kid not even half of his height, not an unbeatable member from a rival gang! "I need to feed them. Please move away." Oh, so he knew how to be polite? Well, in all honestly the very first minutes he saw the little monster, he was being polite but Jungkook himself decided to not be. Perhaps this was all his doing. Well, fair enough. Jungkook shrugged. "Okay," he moved a little away to let the kid go in. Taehyung cautiously took small steps in and made sure to have as much distance as the small alleyway allowed.

Jungkook suddenly stoped one leg toward the younger and- "Boo!" 

The kid shrieked and skipped to where he was previously standing, by the dumpster. Jungkook cackled at his poor act of toughness being thrown away so easily. But then frown in confusion as the little human crouched down on the other side of the trashcan and whispered things while he emptied the plastic on the ground. Soon small puppies crawled out from under the waste container and gathered around the boy's foot.

 Even in the deem light which was coming from the windows of the two buildings on each side of the alley, Jungkook could see they were no ordinary puppies. They could barely stand on their hands and legs and they didn't seem like the newborns so they had to be able to walk properly by now. Some of them even had a hard time to chew the thin slices of chicken, he supposed it was, and... something else. 

After hearing a low sigh, Jungkook averted his eyes from the tiny dogs to the younger boy beside them, seeing a weirdly shaped smile on his face. The little looked happy and gleeful, completely unbothered by the dark and eerie alley. Weird little monster... Jungkook thought. "Yah! Where's your home?" Jungkook asked. This time not trying to hide his genuine curiosity by sarcasm.

Taehyung looked at the older confusedly, as he was in his own little bubble with the puppies and seemed to totally forget about the other. After a few seconds, when he fixed his posture to the tough boy, he pointed at one of the windows on the building Jungkook was leaning on, "That"

Jungkook only glanced at the window the younger was pointing, the only lit room, on the third floor, before he tsked again and rolled his eyes. "This little shit," Jungkook spoke under his breath. The kid could see the alley very clearly from his own room. 

Then the raven pulled out his phone and started to type something in it, before walking to the entrance of the alley. He glanced at the puppies who now were done eating, then back to Taehyung. "Just go home already you annoying shit" Then he left.

The whole way to the new location he was going to do the deal, he cursed the kid and the puppies.

If you're confused, Jungkook changed the location for the deal because he didn't want Taehyung to see it as it could get bloody... something like that.
