"Hyung! Look! Is it good?"
Jungkook pulled his head out of his phone and lazily glance at the younger standing by his head, by the couch. He sighed. "First of all, who the fuck told you you could call me Hyung?"
"But Jiminie and Jinnie-hyung-"
"Uhuh, don't cut me off and that's Jiminie and Jinnie-" He said the last part in a mocking baby voice. "-Not me. For you, it's still Jungkook-shi." The truth is in the past weeks the kid had accidentally called Jungkook, Hyung, several times and the said boy answered him without correcting the latter, it was just now he felt like teasing the kid a little. And maybe that's why, when he took the painting from the other's hand who was holding it up for the older to see, instead of telling what he thought, that how detailed and well colored it was given he was only six, he said, "And the fuck is this? You drew this?" The younger nodded hesitantly. "Pft, even I can do better." He huffed and stood up. It was true that he could do better. Because first, he was good at painting, it was his hobby. And second, he was older. Which meant he could draw a neat line easily whereas the younger could not. He took the painting to his room and crumpled it before throwing it beside his own works on the shelf. Although he didn't miss the pout and the way the kid's face fell when he saw how the painting got screwed up.

Jungkook opened the fridge, empty. The cabinets, empty. The drawers, empty. He was hungry and it wasn't even close to dinner time. The last time he had called the take out and Jin found out, the man was literally biting his ass off for a whole week, so that wasn't an option. He hated to do groceries mostly because he didn't know what to buy. He sighed loudly and pulled out his phone to call Junsoo. It was usually her who did the groceries but then he remembered Junsoo was at Onyx tonight. So it was all him, huh?
He did consider calling Jimin or Jin though, but decided against that the last minutes. They were also busy. Jungkook was just lucky that he could get a day off after his fights and based on how much he earned, sometimes it would be two days.
Cursing their local market for not having online delivery, Jungkook got ready to head out. But stopped before opening the door. Taehyung was in the balcony again. His house had a small one and the younger spent most of his time there during day time. He thought it was good to take the child with him considering how few he would go out. He didn't go to school and the olders weren't usually home in the mornings, the little monster was nearly always alone. He sighed loudly again and went to the balcony.

"Why are you still sulking?"Jungkook sighed. For god knows how many times that day. He really didn't want to ask because he doesn't actually care, but the silence was just becoming unbearable and, after that specific stormy night, the younger seemed more relaxed around the older as he started to talk more and more to the point Jungkook one time had to put him back in the balcony and close the door from inside, just to not hear his voice. So now this, the mute midget, was unusual and annoying.
"Nothing," Taehyung mumbled.
"I'm not good at these games so just spill." The older groaned. To which the younger rolled his eyes before huffing and repeating it was nothing. The audacity this kid has.
Suddenly the ravenette gasped, "Is it because of that painting?" He watched as the younger slowly nodded, "Maybe..."
Crap, he didn't know the kid would take it this serious. NOw he was afraid Taehyung would spill this to Jin, and he didn't want to know what the oldest would do after. "You know," He scratched his neck. "I just said that because I thought you could do better. You know, sometimes you discourage people so they would try harder to prove you wrong... yeah, it was like that." It wasn't the truth but the other smiled his weird boxy smile and looked up at him with glee in his eyes, so he thought it was a white lie and was alright."

"What the fuck is a shopping list?" Jungkook whined. Yes, he whined because he was going in circles for the past fifteen minutes with a six-year-old kid in trolly and very little money in his pockets. Again, because he didn't know what to buy to both not waste his money and fill his/their stomach.
"It's something so that we won't have to go a'ound like this, again, and again, and again." And to emphasize, Taehyung threw his hands up. Although, secretly he was enjoying the ride on the shopping cart. Jungkook rolled his eyes and they continued their stroll around the store. Upon seeing a woman ahead Jungkook slowed down before bending down. His eyes sparkled with mischief before bending down and whispering to the younger, "Now watch how your hyung has fun even in this crappy market. Just look at the woman's face and don't say anything." Taehyung decided to ignore the gulugulu feeling in his stomach and watch the woman as his hyung said.
The said woman was jumping but failing to reach the highest shelf. She was trying to get a, what looked like, a huge sponge foam roll. Taehyung watched as the older boy stopped the trolly by the same row and easily stretched his hand and took the huge roll the woman wanted to get. For a second the younger thought how kind of his hyung and the woman too, stopped her struggle and stretched her hand to take it from Jungkook's with a "thank you" on her tongue, but Taehyung should have known better as Jungkook put the said foam rolls into their own cart, they didn't even know what it was, and with a poker face moved the trolly away. Taehyung had to bite his lip to not smile, the woman's face was hilarious. They turned a corner and burst into a fit of laughter once they were hidden behind the shelves. "H-Hyung" More giggles. "That was sooooo cool!"
Well, Jungkook didn't think the kid would look at him in admiration. From their first encounter when he had told the older to not smoke, Jungkok took him as a boring goody-two-shoes and these past weeks he didn't show anything opposed. But all the times spent with him must have done something as the kid now looked happy watching the stunned face of that woman. There is even a saying about spending with wolves and howls... Ugh, nevermind.
"There's a lot more you need to learn midget." He ruffled the other's hair and watched as his eyes turned to crescents from how big he smiled. "For now let's fucking finish this shopping." Jungkook groaned and the younger giggled. Mumbling a let's do it hyung.
