Tyler's POV:
I was frozen to my spot, quite literally too. They were holding me back. As much as a kicked my feet at them and tried to run, it was no use. Jack must have hired new people. People who were tougher. They dragged me out the front door only a moment after Troye, but just the sight of him okay relieved me greatly.
"Troye," I whimpered. He turned to look at me, but stayed silent.
"Okay, now that both of you are out here, we can have a conversation."
"About what?" I demanded. "What could you possibly want to talk to us about?"
"Tyler, in case your forgot, I still need a TV show."
"Are you delusional?" Troye added. "I think your real problem is whether or not the police is going to find you! You can't make a show when there's a warrant out for your arrest!"
I think Jack had actually finally lost it. Troye was right. The LAPD were searching everywhere for Jack. There's no way a criminal could possibly make a television show, after all.
"Nobody's looking for me," he sputtered.
"Yes they are!" I shouted back. "And all of you helping him, you're going to go to jail too! You should leave while you can!" I protested. The guards wouldn't budge, though. However, they did give each other nervous glances.
"Don't be so sure, Tyler. We have friends back in LA that changed everything."
"We?" Troye asked. "What do you mean by we?"
Jack suddenly looked uncomfortable, which was something I didn't understand. He was the one with the goons. There was no reason for him to feel uncomfortable. The doors of the restaurant behind us flung open, revealing Shaun and Laurelle.
"So this is Jack?" Shaun asked evenly, looking from person to person.
Troye nodded his head slightly.
"Let go of them!" Laurelle exclaimed. She whipped out her her phone. "Or else."
Surprisingly, the guards let go of us. Troye immediately ran over to his mother, but I just slowly walked, constantly looking over my shoulder to make sure that they weren't making any sudden moves.
Laurelle still dialed 000, though. "Hello we're in front of Coco's Restaurant and need help. There's a kidnapper here from the United States." After that, she hung up. "Now don't you dare move," she warned them. Shaun had already found the car they had taken and was standing in front of it, blocking them off from jumping in it. There was nothing for them to do, really. Sage and Tyde appeared outside of the restaurant too, running towards Troye and giving him a hug, apologizing to him for what had happened, as if it were their fault.
"Tyler, Troye, Tyde and Sage go home," Shaun said, turning to us.
"What, no!" I exclaimed. "Troye and I should be here for when the cops get here."
"No, that's the last thing I want," Shaun said.
Troye stepped forward. "Dad, I'm not a little kid anymore. I'm 19."
"I don't care. I don't want you or Tyler around these people anymore. And that counts Tyde and Sage in, too."
"But-" Troye began to protest, but I grabbed his arm before he could continue.
"Troye, they're right. We should go," I whispered in his ear. He turned his head to face me, only inches away. I could practically hear his parents squealing.
He just nodded his head, accepting the car keys that his dad was holding out for him. We walked back to the car side by side, our hands brushing up against each other every time and again.
Once we were back at the house, Tyde and Sage went back to their rooms. It was already 10 PM.
"Ty, do you need anything?" Troye asked, his body facing towards his room. I was standing just outside the guest bedroom.
"Naw," I told him, taking a few steps over so I was standing just behind him again. I grabbed his arm and spun him around to face me. "Do you, though? Are you okay?"
He nodded his head, but it was a lie. "Yeah. Everything is going to be back to normal again. You'll go back to LA and everything will be as it should."
There was a hint of disappointment in his tone. No, not a hint. It seeped through every word. "Troye, it doesn't have to be that way."
"What do you mean?"
"Come back to LA with me. Please," I begged. "With your music career about to launch, wouldn't it be smarter anyways?"
"Yeah but what about my family?"
"Troye, you're 19. By time most people are 19, they're not living with their family anymore. Come live with me. I can be your family."
He wrapped his arms around his body. Was he cold? "That's a lot to take in," he admitted.
"Obviously you don't have to decide now. Just tell me when you know, kay?"
He nodded his head. I took that as the cue to go back to my room, so I turned to leave. However, this time he was the one to grab me by my arm. He spun me around just as I had and pulled me close to him, closing any distance between us with his lips meeting mine. The kiss was deeper than normal, desperate. We stayed like that for a few minutes before the kiss deepened even more, my tongue slipping into his mouth. Our lips moved in perfect harmony.
Suddenly, the sound of a door opening disrupted us. It wasn't Tyde or Sage, though. It was the front door. Laurelle and Shaun. The two of us broke apart, our eyes lingering on the other.
We sprinted over to the family room, where Laurelle and Shaun were hanging up their jackets. "So?" Troye asked.
"They're being flown back to LA tomorrow after spending the night in a jail here. They'll be properly put on trial once they arrive," Laurelle assured us.
Troye and I smiled. So many times we thought things were going to be back to normal. This time, things were really looking up. However, the thought of Hannah missing nagged at the back of my mind. I made a mental note to call Grace later to see if anything else had happened since I last spoke with Connor.
"Mom, Dad, I have something to tell you," Troye said. What was he talking about? One look at the expression on his face told me exactly what he was going to say, though. I didn't bother even trying to stop him. It didn't matter. "Tyler and I are actually dating. You guys were right."

Ayyyy. Sorry for updating again at such a late time. I've had a weird day. My anxiety is creeping up on me because I've been around a lot of people lately. Ughhhh
Did anyone watch the vmas? I cried when Sam smith performed and when queen b performed too. They're just so flawless. And I'm so tired.
Reminder to go read The Unwanted (Troyler AU) by me. It's pretty good I think.
