Tyler's POV:
Nominations ceremony. Great. I could practically hear my heart beating out of my chest just thinking about it. I was going to have to nominate Troye along with Jenna and hope that everyone would vote Jenna out. What if they didn't? No, I couldn't think that way. I had already spoken with Hannah, Grace, Mamrie, Connor and Joey. They said that they would go along with it. I had to trust that they were telling the truth.
A bell rang through the house, indicating that the nominations ceremony was to begin. Everyone filed into the main room, refusing to make eye contact with me. Even Troye seemed to be avoiding me, which caused a huge hole to open up in my chest. Was he mad at me? Didn't we agree that this was best?
I took the seat that wasn't one of the couches and proceeded with announcing who would be up for nomination. "Hello everyone. I'm glad you could make it here, although I'm not sure you had too much of a choice." Joey chuckled, but other than that, silence. "Anyway, as you all know, I have to choose two people to nominate to go home. This week, I'm nominating Jenna Marbles and Troye Sivan."
I glanced over at Lisa, noticing how her mouth hung wide open. She must have been shocked that I didn't nominate her, since she was the one who was being the rudest to me and Troye.
"Voting will take place in three days. I hope this gives you enough time to consider your options," I said with a gulp, trying not to be obviously biased towards one side. "That concludes this weeks nomination ceremony. You are all free to go about your business."
Everyone left, leaving me and Jenna standing there, staring at each other. "You know, I didn't think you had it in you," Jenna said, twirling a piece of hair.
"What are you talking about?" I asked, holding back a yawn. I was so done with all of these people, except for Troye of course.
"I didn't think you had it in you to nominate your boyfriend of all people," she snapped.
"He- he's not my-"
"Oh, shut the fuck up. Everybody knows that you two are a thing. Nobody's complaining, except for Lisa of course, so who even cares?"
"Why is Lisa compl- we're not a couple, okay?" My face must have been crimson.
"Whatever you say, Tilly," she snickered. Hearing someone else say Troye's nickname for me really caused it to lose the effect and sensation that I felt whenever I heard the word pass his lips. Whenever he said it, it was like putting clothes on that had just been taken out of the dryer or cold rain on a hot summer day. Pure bliss.
Jenna left, leaving me to daydream about Troye a little more until the actual being himself entered the room. When I saw him, my head snapped up, and I found myself immediately running to his side. "Are you mad at me?"
"What? No of course not," he whispered. "You did what you had to do. I agreed to it."
"But still-"
"No, Tilly, it's okay. Honestly." The sound of that word was like pouring salt on an open wound, he was the salt and I was the broken one. "I heard what Jenna said, by the way." He was staring down at his hands as he said the words.
I thought for a few seconds. How was I supposed to it? Was it cute that he was eavesdropping on my conversations, or was it Edward Cullen level stalking? I wasn't really sure. "Oh," was all I could say.
"I'm really sorry. That sounds weird. I was just coming back to the main room because I left my hat in here, and I heard you guys talking. I didn't want to interrupt but-"
"You were curious. Troye, you don't have to explain anything to me. I'd be curious too if I were you."
"Yeah," he said, still not taking his eyes off of his hands. After a moment of silence, he spoke again. "Do people really think that we're a thing?" he asked quietly. It was cute when he was nervous.
"Oh please. You of all people should know that everyone in the entire world thinks Troyler is real," I said with a laugh.
"The entire world?" he asked, raising one of his eyebrows in a questioning look, which I have to admit, I found really hot.
"Yeah, Troye, because I meant it literally." I rolled my eyes, but I was still smiling. I sat down the couch and patted the seat next to me. "Come, sit."
"Tyluh-"
"It won't look weird, trust me. We're just sitting." After staring at me for a couple of seconds, he gave in and took a seat next to me. I leaned my head against his shoulder, remembering that this was where we were just earlier today. "You're the only person I trust here, Troye."
"Same goes for you," he said, but I could feel him tense up after I said the words. What was he hiding? I didn't want to pry, though. I couldn't push him away just when I had gotten him back.
"I'm tired, Troye boy."
"Same, Ty ty."
Without another word, we stood up and walked silently to our room, ignoring the snickers from the other contestants on our way.
A/N
Ahhh sorry I haven't updated in a couple of days. I've been busy with work and all that good stuff.
So, I've sorta kinda set out a schedule for my updates. Hopefully I can stick with them.
Hopefully, I'll have a new chapter of this every other day. I've been trying to do every day, but that really isn't working. However, I will only be updating my other one twice a week. I hope that's okay.
Okay thanks for reading. Make sure you vote if you enjoyed it and comment if you really really enjoyed it.
