Tyler's POV:
"Guys... do you understand what's going on right now?" I asked after a minute.
Lisa was looking at me, clearly nervous. Truthfully, I felt bad for how clueless she was about all of this. "No. Why wouldn't he eliminate somebody?"
I considered telling her everything, but I decided that it would be best just to give her an overview of it. After all, we all had to deal with this together now. "Jack is targetting us. He doesn't want us to make our own decisions. He wants to control us."
"So then what do we do? If he won't let us choose who we want to eliminate, then when will we get out of here?" Shane asked.
Troye grabbed my hand and squeezed it. "Okay guys," he said "we have to act on this now. Everybody take off your microphones and turn them off." He took off his and turned it off and I did the same. Everybody else followed our lead a minute later. A beeping sound rang throughout the house. From my experience, the beeping only lasted 5 minutes at most.
"Next we have to disable the cameras. Does everyone recognize these cameras?" I added. Everyone observed them, nodding when they realized they were similar cameras to what they used to film. "Everyone go to your rooms and disable the camera in there. Lisa and Shane, you disable the kitchen camera. Troye and I will disable the main room camera. Joey and Connor, disable the bathroom camera. Hannah, Mamrie and Grace, disable the interviewing room camera." Everybody stood up and promptly headed to their bedrooms.
Once Troye and I got to our room, I hoisted him up with onto my shoulders and allowed him to get to work. He wasn't exactly as light as I'd imagined, to be honest. "Troyeeeeee hurry up."
"Shush! I can't concentrate!" he called back, returning his focus to the camera. After a few more minutes, I heard his voice again. "Okay done!" he exclaimed. I placed him down on the floor.
We stared at each other for a moment before I gave him a quick peck on the lips. His cheeks turned a deep shade of red, and I turned around and ran out the door. "Tilly!" he complained. I couldn't help but smile at this. "Wait for me!"
I stopped at the entryway of the main room, looking out at the open house. All of the other groups were already working on disabling the other cameras. I grabbed his wrist and dragged him over to the camera that we were supposed to disable. He looked at me expectantly, waiting for me to offer my shoulders for him to sit on. However, I just shook my head. "Nope not this time. I'm disabling this one."
He rolled his eyes. "Fine!" Once I was situated up on his shoulders, I got to work, my hands moving quickly around the wires and buttons on the camera. When it was finally disabled, I took it and threw it down to the hardwood floor. It crashed into smaller pieces. Troye, however, lost balance and ended up falling down onto one of the couches with me still on his shoulders. We fell into fits of giggles, and I pulled him on top of me.
"Are we interrupting something?" It was Connor's voice, and I could tell he was smiling. We looked up, seeing the others standing over us.
"Oops," Troye murmured, steadying himself on the couch and standing up. I did the same.
"So what now?" Lisa asked. I would have expected some sarcasm in her tone, but there was none. Ever since eliminations, Lisa had become a lot more friendlier and open to me and Troye's ideas. I liked this side of her.
"Now..." I began, "we just have to find a way out of here. We're all alone now."
Lisa and Shane were standing next to each other, holding hands. Troye noticed it too, and the two of us smiled. It was good seeing they were happy again.
