Tyler's POV:
I was surprised when Troye kissed me. He must have seen my eyes and known that's what I wanted to do. As much as I wanted to live in this moment forever, I knew I couldn't. I mean, being stuck in a room with the love of your life isn't so bad, but it'd be better if it wasn't under these circumstances and it didn't put any other people in danger.
"Troye," I said. He knew exactly what I was going to say.
"I know. I know. We have to keep our minds clear and figure out what to do."
"Yeah. I'd prefer to not have to do that either." I tilted my head up to look at him, but noticed something else behind his head. "Troye look!" I exclaimed.
There, behind his head, was an air vent. "Tilly do you think-?"
"There's only one way to know." Perhaps this air vent lead to the room next to ours!
We examined the vent, seeing that it was screwed into place. I used my nails, which hadn't been clipped in quite a while, to undue them. They weren't screwed in too tight.
After, we realized that the vent was a little too big to fit through it. Troye, however, was definitely skinny enough. "Could you? And yell details back at me."
He nodded his head hesitantly. Slowly, he crawled through into the vent. I had to help push him, though, and accidentally grabbed his butt.
"Ty!" he promptly screeched.
"I would say sorry but I'm honestly not!" I called back, smirking.
Finally, I could hear he had reached the other side. He tapped on the other vent, and a female voice practically screamed. "Zoe shhh!" Troye whispered.
"Troye is that really you?" she gasped. So Zoe was in the room next to ours.
"Yes. Oh it's so great to see you! Can you help me open up the vent?"
"Yeah of course."
Unfortunately, I couldn't see much, but I was relieved when I heard Troye speaking excitedly. I looked back into the vent to see it was empty. "By the way, Tyler is over there too."
Zoe stuck her head in the vent opening. "Hi Tyler!" she exclaimed.
I did the same as her. "Hi Zoe!" I called back.
It was great seeing her face again. The two of them crawled back into the vent and back to our room. "Nobody else here will fit into the vents," Zoe said after they had arrived.
"Yeah, I know. We need to figure this all out, though. We have to get everyone out of here."
"Speaking of that, where is everyone else?" Zoe asked me. "I mean, from your house."
I looked down at my feet. "They got away, thank gosh."
"And they just left you two?" Troye was already crawling back into the vent and heading back to Zoe's room. I guessed he was going to go find everyone else and tell them what was going on.
However, the door to our room suddenly opened and I pulled Troye back in. It was Jack.
He stared at us for a moment. "Wow. You know, I don't recall putting Zoe in this room. Thanks for refreshing my memory," he said through gritted teeth.
"We just wanted to talk to her," I replied innocently.
Jack had two bodyguards behind him. One of them moved in and grabbed Zoe's right arm.
"Let her go!" Troye shouted.
"Don't worry. We're just taking her to a different room where there aren't any air vents for her to crawl through," Jack said.
"Wow I feel really relieved," I snapped.
Another bodyguard appeared behind him. "However, you two and I are going to have a little chat. I hope that's okay."
"Do we honestly even have a choice?" I asked. Before the bodyguards could even grab me by my arm, I snapped at him. "Don't you dare touch me! I'll go, but touch me and you'll lose a fucking finger."
I walked out into the hallway obediently, but Troye hung back. The bodyguards moved in on him, and before they grabbed him, I sprinted back into the room.
"Touch him and you'll lose your whole fucking arm. Do I make myself clear?" I ordered. I grabbed Troye's hand and led him out of the room. I was wondering if he was thinking the same thing as me. We could have tried to make a run for it. We could have, but it probably would have failed considering the bodyguards were all over 6 feet tall and incredibly muscular.
Finally, we arrived at what I could only guess was Jack's office. The bodyguards stood at the door obediently as Troye and I walked in and took a seat across from Jack.
"So, I need to know where all your friends got to," Jack said after a minute.
"How should we know? We were captured before we could even figure that out," I told him. It wasn't a lie. I looked over at Troye, but he just looked stunned. There was no way he was going to find the strength to say even a word during this. I wanted to hug him so bad and tell him it was okay, but I knew I couldn't. Not in front of Jack, at least.
"Fine," he hissed. "But where do you think they would have gone?"
I narrowed my eyes. "Do I look like I'm psychic or something?" I snorted. I was not going to let Jack get under my skin. I had to stay strong for me and Troye.
"You annoy me, Tyler. You may go."
Troye and I stood up, but Jack stopped us before we could turn to leave.
"No, no. Troye stays," he said like it was obvious.
I stepped in between Troye and Jack. "You're insane if you think I'm going to let that happen."
He stared at me. "Okay, but you'll have to tell me where the rest of the people from your house went."
"I already told you I don't know!" I yelled.
"Then you're dismissed!" he shouted back. Never before had I actually heard him raise his voice.
"NO!" The bodyguards were surrounding me within seconds. Seeing as I would either walk out of there or be dragged out, I chose to keep whatever dignity I still had. The entire time I kept looking at Troye, though. He looked helpless and confused. "Stay strong!" I said at the last minute.
I walked back to my room silently, not making any sudden movements or trying to escape. My mind kept wandering back to Troye, of course, and it was driving me insane. What was Troye going to know that I didn't? What did Jack honestly expect to get out of him?
Then, I realized that Jack didn't expect to find anything out. He only wanted to torture me by not allowing me to see him. I could feel my blood boiling, knowing that the next time I would see Troye was unknown. So I returned to the room that Troye and I had shared just moments before and sat down at waited. What I didn't know was that I was going to be waiting for another two weeks until I heard anything, though.
A/N
So I'm not sure if I'm going to be updating much this weekend. I might. It's just I have a thing that I gots to do. And then I have work right after. I'll try my best, though, but I probably won't be updating twice a day like I strangely have been doing recently.
So what do you think is going to happen next?
And does anyone actually watch Big Brother because Zach is pissing me off and the fact that Frankie might go home is making me cry.
THanks for reading. Make sure you vote and comment!
