Lillian's POV
If I am dreaming I don't want anyone to pinch me.
This couldn't be real life. It's just impossible. Sitting at a breakfast bar, watching two hot guys make a meal like professionals can not be my reality. Surprisingly, it is. My eyes just watched them. My hands were folded under my face to hold it up. They moved around the kitchen naturally doing everything like they could do it with their eyes closed. Both of them would take a peek in my direction every once in awhile to make sure I was okay since I was so quiet. It must have been too long though.
"Why are you so quiet?" Stefan asked.
"Smiley and quiet?! There's got to be a reason." Damon followed up.
"Nothing really. Just you two." I said simply.
"Us?"
"Yea." I didn't care how vague I was being because in reality, just them being there made me smile. They didn't get anymore time to question me once we heard the front door being slammed open and a yell.
"Ripper! Where is my Lillian?!" Klaus yelled from the entrance.
"She's not yours Klaus! Stefan! Damon! Where is my sister?" Caroline scolded Klaus and then continued to yell into the mansion.
"If you two would stop yelling, we are in the kitchen. Even Lillian can hear you morons." Damon spoke at a normal level like they were right next to him. Vampire hearing is cool. Caroline and Klaus flashed into the kitchen at vampire speed. Both smiled when they saw me. Caroline flashed right over to me.
"Lils! Are you okay? They didn't do anything to you, did they? Aw I missed you so much! I just got you back and all this is going on and they took you from me. Don't worry, we can go home now and relax. Watch a movie if you want, too." Caroline started ranting and hugging me. She even went as far as squishing my face between her hands.
"Caroline, I'm fine." I said gently, stopping her rant.
"She's not going anywhere Caroline." Stefan stated with a deathly calm voice that I wasn't sure I ever wanted to disobey.
"She's my sister, Stefan! Of course she's going home. That's where she's supposed to be." Caroline backed up from me to go closer to the brothers and yell in their faces. When she left, Klaus walked over to me, looking over my body to make sure I wasn't hurt. His eyes stopped on my neck and flashed with confusion.
"What's this?" His fingers traced the marks. "I gave you my blood. This should have gone away awhile ago."
"What!" All arguments stopped as Caroline flashed back over to me, pushing Klaus out of the way. He growled gently in her direction, not meaning her any harm, but as a warning. He was still the big bad hybrid after all.
"Lillian, what the hell! Are these teeth marks? What the hell did you two do?" Caroline yelled moving my head all around to look at the marks.
"Caroline-"
"Shush. Stop talking we are leaving right now." Caroline said, grabbing my arm and pulling me off the stool. A dark growl filled the room and all I could see was blurred objects.
"Stefan!" Stefan must have grabbed me out of her hold as he was face to face with me. I could feel Damon come up behind me and wrap his arms around my shoulders to leave his arms connecting gently over my heart.
"You don't leave him, understand me?" Disagreeing or going against his demand would only lead to problems and most likely blood being spilt. That's why I only nodded my head in understanding. Once he knew I wasn't going anywhere, he turned back around to face the two blondes.
"I told you Caroline, she's not going anywhere."
"And I already told you Stefan, she's coming home with me!"
"No. She's ours and she's not leaving." His voice got darker. If I had to take my bet, I would say borderline ripper voice. Guess we're entering ripper territory. And to think I just got him down from that high. I mean don't get me wrong. I think ripper Stefan is as hot as non ripper Stefan, as much as I would think. He's probably a different kind of hot, but hot nonetheless. Plus, this Stefan is possessive and demanding. He cares about me and isn't afraid to show it. Probably not the best thing to have in a relationship, but hey if you like it, take it.
"What is she yours like I was to Damon?" She shot disapprovingly.
"No, Lillian accepted us. No compulsion, no threats."
"What? Lillian!"
"Hey! This isn't my fight right now. I was sidelined!" I yelled from behind Stefan. I could hear Damon give a little chuckle from behind me. "Smart ass." He whispered in my ear, making a little grin grow on my face.
"Whatever. Conversation for later. Even if she's yours, which won't be true once I talk to her, you can't just keep her here. My mom hasn't seen her yet and she knows she's home. So let her go."
"No." Well shit alright Stefan. Stick it to the man.
"No? No! What do you mean no?! Fine! Klaus, go get Lillian." Caroline looked at Klaus expectedly.
"Now, love. You know I would do almost anything for your affections. I would also do anything for Lillian, as she is my friend and helped me break the curse, but she doesn't seem to be in distress. I also cannot go against the ripper."
"What do you mean you can't go against Stefan? You're 1000 years old for crying out loud!" Can I pause this moment in time and have some animation artist draw steam coming out of her ears and have them make her stomp her foot please? Actually, I don't need one. I can do it in my head!
"That I am, love. However, it is not a fight to the death. And if I had to take Lillian away from the ripper to which he is very possessive of and is definitely in his ripper ways currently, it would lead to a lot of blood being spilt from everyone and could end in his death as well as possibly some others. Is that what you want?"
"No, but what do you suggest I do then?"
"May I suggest leaving and coming to visit her tomorrow or something?" Damon spoke arrogantly behind me, knowing one way or another I wasn't leaving.
"No, you may not. I do not like that suggestion."
"Too bad. That's the only one you get." Stefan said. "Now, we're done here. You both know where the door is."
"Fine! Lillian if anything happens call me. Snap their necks if you need to. It will put them out for a bit." Caroline yelled resigned, turned around and walked back toward the door.
"Lillian, love. If you need anything, I'm a call away." He said simply and followed Caroline out. If I didn't have two hot guys already, I'd sure be looking at that fine man, but I'm happy he's my friend now so all is well.
Hearing the door slam close lifted a weight off the two brothers. The tension in their shoulders released a little and the air seemed to get easier to breathe.
"Lillian. Here. Now." There goes my air.
