Lillian's POV
Ohhhh, this is not good. Not good at all. Okay, I have to diffuse this. Think Lillian, think! What's the best way that would cause the least amount of damage? I was quickly losing hope until an idea popped into my head.
"Hey, Nik? Can you call Damon?" He looked at me surprised.
"Are you sure that's the brother I should call?"
"Yea, he's more levelheaded in these types of issues than Stefan."
"Alright, love. But you know they're going to want to talk to you."
"I know, I know. Just... calm them down a bit for me please?"
After a nod, he pulled his phone out of his pocket and called the elder Salvatore. After one ring, he answered.
"Klaus I swear to god-"
"Calm down, mate. Lillian is fine and sitting right here. We were watching her favorite movie so she got distracted."
"Put her on the phone." He handed me the phone and was snickering at the fearful face I had.
"Hi, Damon."
"Lillian-"
"I know, I know! I'm sorry. I really am. I just got so caught up in the movie and hanging out with friends that I totally forgot that you and Stefan texted me. No one ever used to hang out with me. You have to understand that this is all new to me and I was just super excited that I have friends now! Please don't be mad at me." I don't think I've ever spoken that fast before.
"Breath Lillian, it's okay. I'm not mad. I was afraid something happened. Stefan, on the other hand, maybe going slightly crazy. You're going to have to talk to him."
"I'll talk to him, but I really want to finish the movie with them after." Although I didn't actually ask a question, we all knew 'can I stay' was right in there.
"Talk to Stefan."
"Okay."
"Lillian." He growled into the phone.
"Don't be mad." I squeaked. I heard him groan and then let out a heavy sigh.
"I'm not mad. Let me rephrase that, I'm ready to kill an entire town, but not you. I'm not mad at you, but the lives of everyone in this town was on thin ice and they are lucky Elijah told you to call when he did."
"So, I can stay and finish the movie?"
"Absolutely not."
"Stefannnnnn."
"Lillian, don't."
"Pleaseeeee, I'll negotiate for it."
"No going home for a week. If Caroline tries to take you home, you refuse. You're staying at the Boarding House."
"Done."
"I will see you at 9. Turn your ringer on and make sure you text one of us."
"I will! I'll see you later." I ended the call and handed back the phone to Nik.
"Thank you!"
"Of course, love. I do have to say, I'm impressed that you can negotiate with him. Usually when he's a ripper, whatever he says goes." Nik laughed at the situation.
"I can call him back and tell him to come get me if you want me out of your hair." I offered. That's when it all broke lose.
"Absolutely not!" Rebekah yelled while Kol let out a loud "No!" I let out a little smile. At least they like me!
"You're staying here and if one of my brothers has a problem with it, they can leave." She practically growled at Nik. If I didn't know any better, I would say she was the wolf in this family.
"Now I didn't say anything about leaving, so stop your yelling Rebekah. Would we like to continue this discussion or get back to the movie?"
"Movie!" I yelled. Turning my head, I looked at the man decked out in a suit. "Would you like to join us? We're watching Kingsmen." He took a second to look at me, seemingly looking for an answer to some question in his head. I saw him shake his head a bit and looked back at all of us.
"I don't see why not. Thank you for the invitation, Ms. Forbes."
"Of course! Nik hit play!"
"Easy there, love. Otherwise I'll switch the movie."
"Don't test me!"
"And what are you going to do, sweetheart?"
"I can always tell Damon and Stefan that you threatened to drink from me. Or maybe feed me to your hybrids. Oh! Maybe I should say that you tried to take me to Europe and woe me. I bet that one would go over great!" I said with excitement.
"Ohhhh, now I see why Bekah likes her. A little manipulative, are we, darling?" Kol smirked at me.
"Well when the circumstances arise, we must use the weapons we have, do we not?" With the two of us smirking and then laughing with each other, I think we unnerved the other three siblings.
"I think this is the start of a beautiful friendship, darling."
"Don't tell my sister that! She was afraid that I would befriend the other originals."
"Is that so, love? Well, it's not our fault that we like only the smartest of individuals. Who knew a human would be so enticing though. If the Salvatore's don't change you, I can promise that one of us will." Klaus butted in.
"Is that a threat or a promise? I'm confused."
"A promise. You're stuck being my friend for the rest of eternity." Rebekah chimed in. All I could do was smile though. These people wanted to be friends with me and were not afraid of spending legit lifetimes with me. Yea, I don't know Elijah and Kol that well. Well, really any of them, but Nik and Bekah a bit more, they are open to having me around long-term. I don't know what's up with everyone lately, but it feels so nice to be wanted and included.
"Well, I'd be honored to be Best Friends Forever. Literally!" I laughed with Rebekah once she realized what I said.
"Now, movie please?"
"Yes, before we lose all of our time and not see the end." Kol added in. Oh so someone is invested in the movie, are we? We all just looked at Kol and laughed.
"What?!" He yelled defensively. None of us would say anything. Nik just started the movie back up and there we sat. Three originals and a seventeen-year-old human girl watching Kingsmen.
