A/N,
You may want to get the tissues for this one.

Y/N sighed as she walked down the long hallways of the school. Her right hand wiping her sweaty neck with a towel and her left hand holding a bottle of water to her mouth as she chugged down it's contents.

The ballerina sighed as her lips left the bottle. Her legs began to slowly ache as she continued to walk the rest of the length of the hall towards the music room.

She had pushed herself hard today. Maybe a little too hard. Everything she did seemed to be off. Every move she made was wrong, wrong, and wrong again. By the end of her practice she felt as though she would never get the dance down. She always pushed herself into upping her performance. And she always did. She always got better. She never stopped trying as hard as she could.

Her arms were sore, and she felt like her knees were going to buckle at any given moment, but she didn't stop. She kept going. She always kept going.

As Y/N approached the music room, a soft melody began to fill her ears. The sound of fingers on a piano sent shivers of happiness down her back. A sense of euphoria shot through her at the memories playing back in her mind.

Memories of playing the piano together for her parents.

A small smile spread across her face.

It had been so long since she had stopped to listen to a piano. Being in a contemporary class, where almost everything was upbeat, she never got the chance to just stop and listen to the sounds of a piano.

The notes continued to fill her ears as she closed her E/C eyes to get a better sense of the melody. It was unfamiliar, but she didn't mind. It was beautiful.

"You good Y/n/n?" Hoseok's soft voice broke Y/N out of her trance and she looked at the boy.

His black tank top was covered in sweat and his dance shorts were now changed out for jeans. His dance bag was slung carelessly over his shoulder as he eyed the girl warily.

She nodded her head and offered a small smile.

"Yeah, I was just listening to the piano."

Hoseok smiled at her comment.

"Yeah. Yoongi hyung plays beautifully." He stated as he looked through the window of the door to the music room.

The freckled girl cocked her head to the side in confusion.

'That was Yoongi?'

She peeked through the window and smiled as she watched Yoongi pause his playing to write down some music notes on a sheet of paper in front of him.

Hoseok's warm hand found her shoulder as he smiled at her in amusement.

"Well, I'll be going. I guess I'll see you later, yeah? Are you coming to spend the night at my house Sunday night?"

Y/N nodded excitedly.

"Do you mind if I invited Yoongi too?" She started shyly. "He doesn't have many friends and we all had a good time last night when he was there-"

Hoseok cut her off with a poke to her cute nose.

"You can invite anyone you want."

Y/N scrunched up her nose at his action and watched the boy skip off gleefully.

With an affectionate roll of her eyes, the girl turned and entered the music room.

She walked in quietly, so as not to disturb the pianist as he wrote.
